Dark Hour Log
[The clock has struck midnight and something in the air has changed. Time’s stopped, people have transformed into coffins, the coloring of the world seems all wrong. And worse, you might notice something moving in the corner of your eye. Something dark, shadow-like, and definitely foreboding.]

[Princess in distress? SOMEBODY SEND FOR A KNIGHT.][Oddly enough, the first living person she would come across would be an individual in armor wondering just how he was still living at all, among other things. Lancer couldn't in all good conscience leave a young woman alone in a strange environment like this--he approached carefully, hoping the sight of someone equally as lost wouldn't startle her.]

[Her attire and weapon was strange for a human--another Servant? There surely hadn't been anyone like her in Fuyuki, as far as Lancer had known. Things were likely far less simple than that.]

serenade turns her head at the sound of a voice, both relieved and surprised to have found someone seemingly in a situation similar to hers. the man's attire was strange, if only because there was so little of it. but that was food for later thought. she grips her stave gently, just in case- though she has yet to discover the state of her abilities. ] Yes, for the time being. Pardon me, sir, but...where in the world are we?

[He looked around as well, unable to shake that strangely apprehensive feeling.]
Forgive me, I didn't properly introduce myself--call me Lancer.

[ her tone becomes serious now. ] If there are more wandering in this place alone, we must locate them. In this situation, I believe the term "strength in numbers" may benefit us greatly.

I think that would be a valid strategy, particularly given that there's no way of telling what could be around here.

[ she turns her body to face a line of coffins, setting the base of her stave to the ground. ] What concerns me are these unsettling coffins. Could this be a graveyard...?

[He glanced at her stave before examining the surroundings again, wishing he had his lance with him. Any weapon would have been preferable to none at all at this point.]

[ she looks up at him with a smile. ] However, we still have a search to carry out, and it appears this area is very vast. Would you be so kind as to accompany me, still?
