Where: Starting at their room, and then moving to the beach.

[Now that it was starting to warm up again, and the wather today is good, April decided that Ledah and her could go kite-flying together that afternoon; it was something that they had talked about before, and the weather warming up meant it was now possible.

So, having safely packed up the kites into a bag, she turns towards Ledah.]

Okay, I've got the kites. You ready to go?

Kite-flying. So exhausting.]

[Of course. Though knowing April, she might make kite-flying more complicated than it should be somehow.]

Right, let's go! [Onwards to the beach they go!]

[It's a lovely day out.]

I've been looking forward to this.

[April gives him a happy grin.]

Glad to hear it! I have been too. Luckily the weather has been nice lately, so I thought now would be a good time to go kite-flying.

[gaveupfeeling]

You've chosen well. But we'll see once we get them in the air.

Yeah. The breeze at the beach is usually pretty good, so hopefully that'll help get them flying.

[gaveupfeeling]

...I'm glad that things have quieted down. Of course, I would protect you even if there was still danger, but it's nice to have peace.

[technologic]

[April nods, her expression almost becoming thoughtful.] Yeah, it is... After what's happened, it's nice to be able to relax, at least for a while.

[gaveupfeeling]

And this is an excellent way to relax.

Mhmm, especially on a nice day like this. [She stretches with a sigh, enjoying the sun.] I'm really glad that it's starting to warm up again.

We should spend more time outside now, when the weather permits.

[technologic]

Sounds like a good idea! It would be nice to spend more time outside, inside of staying indoors all the time. [Ledah has probably seen how restless she tends to get when she's inside for too long.]

[gaveupfeeling]

When I was traveling, I usually camped outside anyway.

[technologic]

Same here. Though over the years I've had to stay inside more, since it makes it less likely to be attacked.

... Do you think camping is something we could maybe do one day?

[gaveupfeeling]

There aren't many campsites on the island. But I would like to.

[technologic]

I'm happy to hear that. And if we can't somewhere on the island, we could also look outside of the island, if you wanted.

[gaveupfeeling]

Not near the full moon, but some time, I would like that.

[technologic]

Of course, and I'm glad to hear that.

[And soon they arrive at the beach!] Ah, looks like the breeze here is good.

Excellent. It would be a shame to come all this way for nothing.

[He starts unfolding his kite.]

Yep. And the weather said it should stay nice all day, so hopefully we'll get to stay here for a while.

[And April starts unfolding hers... and gets her hands tangled in the string in the process. Give her a sec, she needs to de-tangle herself.]

Do you need help?

[He doesn't even snicker.]

Um, y-yes please...

[April is grateful for that, or else she would be more embarrassed than she already is.]

[Ledah deftly untangles her hands.]

Your kite is ready.

[technologic]

Thank you. One day I'll stop getting my hands tangled in these...

[April moves to get her kite into the air, but it looks like she was right about the breeze her being good, as the kite pretty much flies into the air the moment it catches wind and she has to quickly grab the string so that it doesn't fly away.]

[Ledah does the same with his kite, with a little more grace.]
