Well it's finally here. Thanksgiving. Saori promised to make this quite a feast and she definitely was thankful for all the help. After recent events ranging from loss to regaining powers, this provided an opportune time to bond with fellow captors. Those not helping in setting up, might be getting a text to remind them of the event.

[It's the moment everyone is waiting for. There's usual fare of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, and extra foods like ham and pies to go around. There's cider, wine, and other drinks to wash down the food as well.]

[Food coma anyone? Chances are, even if you had Black Friday plans, you're not going anywhere with that full stomach. Lounge around, have chat and let that fluffy feeling of the holidays sink in.]

[And here's one April who is helping to get dinner ready.]

Aaah... Do you think we'll have enough for everyone?

[Issei's hard at work, both in the kitchen and making last-minute adjustments the decorations. He's not so busy that he can't stop and chat, though.]

That dinner was amazing.

[Guess where that lovely harp music is coming from?

It's Eater, of course, but since it's after sunset it may be a bit of a surprise to see him strumming away.]

April has found a couch to flop on and is now just sitting there. Not moving. The only thing that hints that she's not asleep is how she occasionally opens her eyes to look at what everyone else is doing.]

Would a prayer before the meal be in poor taste, or even feasible?

At the bookstore they were talking about the football game and how it was traditional to watch it every year.

What does being thankful have to do with sports?

I have no idea.

Maybe people really like football.
