Gentleman's Night Out With an Awkward Morning [Semi Closed]

Who: [livejournal.com profile] lol_waver and [livejournal.com profile] profcharisma
Where: First the Bar, then Rider's Room
When: Oct 30th
Summary: Rider Takes Waver drinking, Waver gets drunk, awkward ensues.
Rating: PG / PG-13 (While the nasty is IMPLIED there is no nasty, so read with caution)
Warning: there will be references to adult material though nothing will actually have occurred.

Rider had been meaning to do this for a while, but now was the day. He stood before the door of his former Master with a huge grin on his face and dressed in tight, black slacks and a maroon button up shirt that hung open on his chest. He might find these 'pants' very restrictive, but it was necessary to blend in. Especially since he planned to spend the night out drinking as much wine as he could handle.

He raised his giant hand to knock on the door but instead let out a loud bellow.

"I know you are in there, Waver! Open the door, and I will take you out on the best night of your Magus life!"

Ooc note: The bar thread is OPEN, anyone can tag it! Expect replies from one or both of us!

Five minutes ago, Waver had fixed himself a cup of tea and sat down to finally finish reading a book.

Clearly the universe did not want him to ever finish it.

He knew far better than to keep Rider waiting, though; he would just yell at the door until Waver answered or, even worse, break it down. So he set down his tea and his book and opened the door.

"Good evening, Rider. Yelling really isn't necessary."

[He just likes sweaters okay, there's nothing wrong with them.]

...Fine. [Arguing with Rider is a lesson in futility.] Give me a few moments, then.

[He'll just be shutting the door to go and change clothes, then.]

[GDIT RIDER]

...I assumed I'd be able to have a little privacy while I was changing!

[When you were Issei Ryudo, you kept your promises, even poorly thought out ones that bound you to vague terms. And that meant that when you were the vassal of a king and you saw him enter a bar, you went into that bar to make sure that nothing really stupid happened.

He didn't have to greet Alexander right away, considering that he was accompanied. Instead he took a seat at the bar, ordered a water, and kept an eye open for more trouble than he usually got into.]

...how is this already natural for me?

Not very much, apparently.

[He shakes his head fondly and moves to sit next to Rider instead.]

[Waver watched Issei's approach from Rider's other side.]

[He seemed familiar-- he probably spoke to him before, it probably wasn't important.]

[And if he happened to at all notice that Issei seemed to be a young, attractive boy with an agreeable personality who apparently was well acquainted with Rider, there was nothing on his face that indicated as such. Or indicated that there was anything that could possibly be wrong with that.]

Bar [Open]

[Because we want as much alcohol in Waver as we can possibly get.]

[He's barely finished with the first before the second is in front of him.]

...

[What is his life and how did he end up like this]

I don't drink things very quickly.

[Your drinking buddy is here, Waver. Of course the Irish guy is at a bar, geez.]
croibhristeoir: (hopes and dreams shattering apart)

...both of them. this is why i need to be awake when tagging.

I would be honored, Rider.

Then again, can you really say you're drinking at all if you're not drinking with an Irishman? [SMIRK.] I can't help but think it wouldn't be as fun otherwise.

[When Waver woke up in the morning, he wished that he hadn't.]

[His head was pounding. His body ached. His mind was foggy like a... thing. With fog in it. To top it off, he didn't know where he was, where his clothes were, or why he was separated from them.]

[Last night was a black abyss shortly after that fourth shot. He could imagine what occurred in it, but made a conscious effort not to.]

Ngh...

[That was the sound of a man who was never going to drink again.]

[Gdit Rider. How do you not get hungover.]

[He started to push himself up-- his face had been resolutely buried in the pillow-- and hissed when a surprisingly large amount of his body protested movement. It felt like he had fallen down a flight of stairs.]

[He turned to look at Rider.] Only reluct...

[And trailed off.]

[Rider why are you naked.]
