Who: Shadow Albedo and anyone else. The original Albedo might show up eventually, too.
What: All of the feelings of loneliness and love that Albedo's been suppressing are wandering around Prospero, looking to force Albedo to accept them. Albedo's hard to find, however, so it might be running into some other people on the way.
When: Dark Hour, all week.
Where: All over town.
Rating: Most likely PG if it's just Shadow Albedo, PG-13 to R for violence, masochism and possibly swearing if the real Albedo shows up.
Notes: If you don't want to deal with Albedo coming and trying to murder his Shadow, lemme know. I would also appreciate it if you said what day this is happening sometime in the first post.

Albedo's shadow was as graceful and in control of his movements as his original as he moved through the streets of Prospero, but anyone who knew the white haired man would easily be able to tell something was off, even before seeing the piercing yellow eyes. Where Albedo moved with confidence and practically radiated arrogance, his Shadow stood a little hunched, keeping his gaze lowered.

Albedo spent every Dark Hour entertaining himself by slaughtering lesser Shadows, and didn't really have a favored hunting ground. But the yellow eyed copy wasn't going to object. Perhaps if he found some of the people most important to Albedo and told them how he really felt, his original would have no choice but to own up to his real feelings? Even Albedo couldn't predict himself sometimes, so the Shadow didn't know, but it had to be worth a try.

"A motivating factor? Just what are you planning to do?"

He gave the shadow a slightly suspicious look. He couldn't help but agree with that last statement however. It seemed to be a trait shared by all the URTV's.

"I intend to have a little chat with him. It ought to be a bit harder to deny a part of yourself if it's standing right in front of you."

Of course, the Shadow wouldn't entirely put it past his original self, but he was confident that if it came to violence, it could avoid any actual deaths.

Gaignun wasn't so sure about that logic. Even if Albedo was free from most of the direct U-DO taint, he was still unpredictable and perhaps emotional.

"He's not going to be happy with that conversation you know."

"Oh, most likely not. But I think I can survive should he respond with violence. We inner selves given freedom aren't quite as subject to the limitations of this world as everyone else."

Reluctantly, the Shadow removed his hand from Nigredo's shoulder, only to vanish briefly and reappear standing next to the black haired URTV.

Way to give your brother a heart attack there S!Albedo. The sudden vanishing and reappearing put his guard up even more. He turned to face the Shadow once again.

"That's what worries me."

He didn't mean to, he just thought a demonstration would be the easiest way to show what he meant.

"It needn't. My goal here isn't for anyone to die. It would rather defeat the purpose if I killed my other self in the process of making him acknowledge the truth of my words, now wouldn't it?"

"You seem very sure that it's going to go the way you want."

In a way, Gaignun hoped that the shadow would get through to Albedo. It would do the white haired man a lot of good to be able to sit down and recognize and express what he was feeling again. When they were young Albedo didn't have any trouble with it. If he was sad, he cried, if he was upset he'd yell and scream, if he was happy he'd smile and laugh. Still, those had been simpler times and pushing the issue was most likely not going to get anyone anywhere.

"Don't forget, I'm still your brother. I have a talent for figuring out how to make things go my way."

The Shadow let a small, confident smirk show.

"And there aren't any others who know him better than myself."

"I know that. I'm just saying that you sound like it's going to be an easy ride, which we both know it will not be." If you're going to do this, you had better be prepared to accept that there will be set backs.

"Look, I'm not doubting your intentions, and who knows, your method may work. I just want you to remember that it may not just be instantaneous." IE Gaignun is prepared to hear about much kicking and screaming.

"I realize that. That's why I'm taking time to speak with you, rather than continuing to hunt him down. If I can't get him to acknowledge me directly, the least I can do is to ensure that the truth doesn't vanish with me."

"Smart move." Gaignun favored the shadow with a small smile. He still wasn't completely sure about the Shadow's good intentions, but it certainly did seem sincere.

The Shadow, for his part, smiled in return, seeming genuinely pleased. "One always does well to have a backup plan."

The smile vanished quickly, however, as something else occurred to the Shadow. "Oh, and while I'm getting the chance to speak, I have a favor to ask on his behalf. Keep an eye on Ma Peche for him as well as Rubedo, would you? He'd get testy if someone else were allowed to lay a hand on her."

"Ma...MOMO?" Now that was a surprise, and Gaignun shows this by raising an eyebrow.

"Don't worry about her, I've already got that taken care of." Yes he has already assigned her a babysitter...or well, someone for her to babysit. Whatever the case he has considered her well fare.

The Shadow caught that raised eyebrow, and offered a knowing smirk in return. He honestly had expected Nigredo to be surprised. The fact that what Albedo felt for MOMO wasn't honest hatred was something the URTV turned Testament denied thoroughly.

"That's good to know. I'm not certain you would like his reaction were he to discover someone other than himself had brought her to harm."

"I'm not sure I like the fact that you have to clarify the point 'someone other then himself' either." He answered with a sigh. Still, this was a valid point to file away for further consideration. What did Albedo still want with MOMO other then pestering Jr.?

"Some things won't change simply because of a new environment. So long as she has so much he desires, tormenting her will be far too appealing."

"Admittedly I had been hoping that would have settled down in light of other things." That had been a vain hope that he really should not have kept. After all, MOMO herself had said that Albedo had been mean to her when she spoke to him here.

"Still, the concern is noted."

"That's not likely to happen, though not for the reasons he claims."

"No I suppose not." The additional information failed to surprise Gaignun at all. Nothing really was what Albedo claimed it was. That was just the way he was after all.

The Shadow was preparing to say something else, but whatever he had in mind was lost when a bolt of lightning crashed into his back and knocked him over. Behind the Shadow was a pure white horseman, standing beside the real Albedo.

The Shadow forced itself to its feet through the convulsions brought on by the electrocution and turned, facing its original.

"Patient as ever, aren't we? But I suppose that was my own fault, for not paying proper attention."

Albedo stepped in front of his Persona, knife drawn and at the ready with a vicious snarl on his face.

"Oh, it certainly is your own fault, though not for that reason. Through spreading lies about me, or are we going to have some fun now?"

Why was he not surprised that the first shot fired had been a cheap back shot from the non Shadow Albedo. Really. Honestly he was surprised it hadn't happened earlier.

"Before you two start another galaxy spanning war, is there any chance that this can be settled calmly?" Vain hope, but he was mostly using it as a chance to get the hell out of the way.

The Shadow was already moving away from Nigredo, putting distance between them to avoid stray attacks hitting him. Electricity crackled menacingly around the Shadow's hands, almost exactly equal in power to the blast he had just received.

"Seeing as I have no intent on surrendering so easily and he rarely ceases a fight once he's begun it?"

But despite his words, the Shadow didn't want to fight. Rather than attack Albedo, he focused his will and formed a barrier between the two sides of the brewing battle.

Albedo, on the other hand, was ready to tear the 'fake' him to shreds. With a quick mental command, he had his Persona launch another blast of lightning. The attack met with the barrier and sent ripples flowing out from the point of impact, before the defense shattered and the attack dissipated in a draw.

"Foolish of you to stand against the likes of me. Nigredo, get out of the way. This is between me and the impostor."

"Now hold on Albedo, he has access to your old powers!" This is not a fight he wants his brother to be picking, and he wishes he had his own old powers to at least force one of them to listen.

He didn't really blame Albedo for being angry though, this whole Shadow thing spilling your secrets had everyone on edge. "This isn't a good idea..."
