WHAT: THE CONTEST IS ABOUT TO BEGIN! WHICH OF THESE FIGHTERS WILL GO HOME A CHAMPION?
WHEN: Saturday, December 18th
WHERE: Shopping District, wherever it's most crowded.
RATING: It's gonna get rough and rowdy up in here. Plus Juri is her own warning.
The day seemed perfectly normal. The are was covered in shoppers trying to get in their holiday gift buying. The air was chilly, the sky was clear, and hardly anything seemed out of place. It was all so... ripe. Ripe for someone to take the boring little scene and smear a bit of ink on it. Give the world some color. And no person was better suited for the job than a certain deadly spider who had somehow managed to blend her way into the scene.
It was just a matter of scoping out her target, now. And if he, for whatever reason, didn't show up, well... She'd have plenty of people around to have fun with, regardless. And she knew that he was well aware of her tendencies. Ah, the little games people play...

I took this deal, and people are going to get hurt. What were the chances of getting the answers he wanted? A two-year-old chase throughout the world, each answer leading to more questions. The probability for success felt small, yet... ]
Okay, let's get this over with. [ Abel stands in front of Juri, ignoring the stares of the crowd around them. ]

There isn't much of an opening through the barrage of kicks. In the name of offense, Abel sacrifices some defense as he lowers one of his arms, shielding himself with only a single forearm—it's a lot more painful this way.
Abel hisses in discomfort as he exhales slowly. Instead of paying attention to his free arm, he hopes Juri is too busy trying to drive him off onto a staircase that's right behind him.
Quicker than he looks, Abel uses his free arm to throw himself into a roll towards Juri. Using the impact of his body colliding against her, Abel stands up for less than a second, dives into a grab, then delivers a series of low and high punches. As she staggers backwards, he grabs onto her again, jumps up into the air with her in tow, spins both of them in the air, and forces her body onto the pavement with the momemtum of their bodies.
Heartless (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6zbfiVcbdw). ] Get up. [ Abel peers down at Juri. ]

No, this is low, a moan of something Abel isn't used to hearing, but isn't too much of a sheltered child not to understand. It's...concerning, not because his hits aren't taking enough damage, but because she might be enjoying herself a bit too much.
Juri caught on quickly, the signs of a dangerous opponent—he's useless from far away, the bane of Judo and CQC. Somehow, he'll have to close the distance, while taking minimal damage, or he'll never win. Abel dashes backwards, trying to avoid her spinning kick, back in the same position as before—losing ground. ] Getting tired? [ It's a useless taunt, a desperate break as he searches for something that will bring his grasp closer to her. ]

Abel wishes they'd all leave. Walking liabilities, distractions he can't afford when Juri drags him across the street, his ankles raw from friction.
Annoyed, Abel jumps backwards, breaking the barrage of kicks...
...and he suddenly stops, moaning as if in pain. His vision starts to change from the corners of his eyes into a washed out, monochrome view sucking out all the colors, and he growls weakly, grabbing at his head. ] N—nooooooooo...

He has to win this fight. Though there's people all around them, knowing his past is paramount. Fighting this madness is always painful, and leaves him exhausted. If he keeps trying...
Abel falls into a kneeling position, his hands propping him away from the pavement. There's a predatory, virile growl, and then he stands up, facing backwards. ] Ehehahahahah! [ He turns around, his eyes gone demonic, grey-on-black. ] I don't have much time, so make sure to make this...fun!

-And with a mad laugh, Juri once again rushed her opponent, moving into a series of lightning fast kicks, each aiming at a different target. The look on her face said it all. This was exactly what she had wanted. The panicked screams in the background swelled like a symphony. A fitting score for their battle. It was how she always wanted it. If only she had her eye, it'd all be perfect...-
