[When you arrive at the business district, you'll find the Empress Arcana boss there waiting.  Several shadows that look with fur clad women on love seats, the Elegant Mothers, surround the Boss. Defeat them, defeat the Boss.]

[The Elegant Mothers are weak to physical and non Persona attacks.  Remember, groups consist of five or less!]

[Ledah pauses in lanceing the crap out of another Shadow.] ...Of course they can use our tricks.

[technologic]

[April stops shooting for a moment so that she can whack a Shadow that gets too close with her rifle.] But I've never seen the big Shadow do anything before. Though I guess this mean this will take a bit longer if the big one is healing the smaller ones.

[gaveupfeeling]

Only a bit. We'll have to focus our fire more, that's all.

[technologic]

Right. [Another whack with her rifle knocks the Shadow to the ground, with a bullet to the head finishing it off.] Ah, you'll probably have more luck here than me, since they seem to be weak to physical attacks.

[gaveupfeeling]

Understood.

[That next Shadow he sets his sights on and begins to attack is so doomed.]

[technologic]

[Yep, pretty much. April just kinda... blinks and watches for a moment, before going back to shooting.] ... Y'know, it's times like this when I consider if I should ask you to teach me how to use a lance.

[Though she says this in a light-hearted tone.]

[gaveupfeeling]

I think your skills with a gun are more than enough. [Stab.]

[technologic]

[A gunshot followed by a pause for reloading.] Thanks. Plus, I doubt me handling anything sharp will end well.

[Another small joke, before she readies her gun again.] And you seem to be doing well in handling these things either way.

[tvkncp]

[One of the Elegant Mothers, injured from attacks, comes upon them trying to cast charms on the pair.]

[gaveupfeeling]

[Ledah pauses briefly in his attacks before snapping to his senses. Only a momentary hesitation and nothing more.

Heaven help that Shadow if it did anything to April, though.]

[technologic]

[April isn't so lucky, as she ends up needing to use her rifle to keep herself upright, the charm disorientating her. It'll take her a bit longer to snap back to her senses.]

[gaveupfeeling]

April-!

[Ledah switches to striking more defensively, keeping anything from getting past him to April while she recovers.]

So that's their kind of magic...

[technologic]

[There's a moment of silence from her, before she replies.]

Pretty annoying magic... Ugh, my head is all fuzzed up... [But at least now she's pushing herself back up straight.]

[The shadow recoils from the attacks, moving back and trying to tend to its wounds while casting wind spells at the duo.]

[ Lindsey is really unsure of what he's doing here, to be honest. After his last experience with the dark hour, part of him never wanted to go outside again. Part of him, however, remembered what he'd been told by the others here- only they could fight these things.

He's not sure what this shadow is- just a colored shape in what he'd dubbed his "Persona vision"- but he recognizes April's voice. He can't get close to it in all this wind, but Lancelot can.

The knight swoops in from the side, swinging his sword at the thing in a wide, downward arc. ]

Hm. I appreciate the help.

[Ledah moves swiftly, following the shadows in their retreat heedless of the wind attacks.]

[technologic]

[It takes a moment for April to register just who it was that was helping them, but when she recognizes him, she smiles brightly.]

Ah, thanks, Lindsey!

[She stands up straight, giving a quick shake of her head to get rid of an remaining fuzziness, before readying her gun again and taking a few shots at the Shadows.]

[The Shadow falls from the attack, slumped and unmoving. A good time for a group attack to finish it.]

[blindknight]

[ He was going to ask what the fuck was going on, but when the shadow falls still, he figures there's time for that later ]

It's not moving. Should we finish it off?

[gaveupfeeling]

Let's press our advantage.

[All-Out Attack?

[technologic]

Yeah, this seems like a good time to finish it.

[Just another quick gun reload, before moving forward, ready to shoot the Shadow until it's destroyed.]

[blindknight]

Then lead the way, guys. [ Lindsey doesn't have a weapon outside of his cane, but it'll work for now. ]

[gaveupfeeling]

[Ledah leads the charge, piercing the Shadow without hesitation.]

[technologic]

[And April proceeds to fill the Shadow with bullets, making sure no-one else is hit in the process.]

[blindknight]

[ Lindsey's cane is not nearly as effective as a spear or, gee, a fucking gun. But he does his part, smashing his cane down on what he presumes to be the Shadow's head (if these things had heads anyway) ]
