[When you arrive at the business district, you'll find the Empress Arcana boss there waiting.  Several shadows that look with fur clad women on love seats, the Elegant Mothers, surround the Boss. Defeat them, defeat the Boss.]

[The Elegant Mothers are weak to physical and non Persona attacks.  Remember, groups consist of five or less!]

[Well isn't this the pretty party.]

Oh hello there you two. [He shoots a warning glare at his brother, trying to tell him that starting trouble was at his own peril.]

Shouldn't you be inside? This is going to be dangerous. [Yes he's concerned about his 'son', and for miss innocent angel over there.]

[The Elegant Mothers take no heed to their conversing and choose to start their attack while the group is talking. Two of them come at the group, casting wind spells.]

*Once again, he's cut off by a new arrival. With an annoyed scowl, he braces himself to take the attack and directs his Persona to attack the nearest Shadow.*

I suspect they're already aware of that fact, Nigredo.

Of course we know - Zan!

[Alice still has no physical attacks, so she's relying on her almighty spells even in this battle.]

Don't worry about us.

[Of course. It's always the interruptions. His life is full of them really. Wanting to get some distance, he tries to freeze a shadow with an ice spell, but he'll quickly switch to his gun.]

I can't say I approve of kids on the battlefield. [Old man hypocrite is old.]

[Ryu flinches slightly, but doesn't back away. He pulls himself back mentally - just running in isn't going to do any good here, probably.]

I'm not as much of a kid as you might think.

[He summons Seiryu, trying an Agi spell on the Shadow.]

[The group may be surprised to see their elemental spells have no effect on the shadows, in fact the only thing they try that has an effect were the spray of bullets. They recoil slightly, casting out wind spells again.]

*Albedo notices the difference in effectiveness, but it only makes him smirk.*

Well well well, isn't this amusing.

*He draws his knife and charges one of the Shadows, cape flaring as he swerves to avoid the attack. At the same time, the White Rider closes in on the same Shadow, bearing down for a Power Slash.*

[V/V frowns, realizing that her only method of direct attack is doing nothing.] Um... hm. Alice?

[Alice waltzes up to the next enemy she sees, casting an Evil Touch. Hopefully they weren't immune to that too.]

[With Albedo seeking to make short work of the shadow in one direction, Gaignun points his gun towards the other, hoping his unpredictable brother wont just rush madly into his line of fire. The kids he can keep an eye on however, and he's ready to bail them out of it looks like they need it.]

[Ryu follows Albedo, going after the same Shadow. He doesn't want to get into the line of fire from Gaignun, and so he might as well give punching it a shot.]

[The shadows back away from the attacks, slowing in the actions from the damage. One of them retaliates with yet another wind spell while the other attempts to charm the group.]

*For a moment, Albedo pauses as if confused. Then his eyes fall on Ryu next to him and there's only a second's tensing of warning before he swipes his blade at his own ally, victim to the charm spell.*

What are you doing?

[V/V avoids the wind spell, but she's much more concerned about the attack from her ally(?) on another ally.]

Don't do that!

[Well damn. Gaignun isn't completely sure what just happened, but to be fair this isn't entirely out of character for Albedo.] Ryu! Get away from him but keep on with the shadows!

[And well, going to go deal with brother dear]

[Ryu backpedals, trying to avoid it but catching it with his arm. He stares at it in shock. He doesn't have time for this - so he turns and attacks the Shadow, though a bit weaker this time.]
