I need a holiday

WHERE: All over Prospero.
SUMMARY: After getting caught doing research, Nathan's one planned solo trip is now a free-for-all. Why not, it's not as if anyone is going to get hurt from this, right? Well. Unless they decide to go looking in the dungeon for things, or lose track of time...
RATING: PG-13.
WARNING(S): There is a chance that climbing buildings during the day will get them reported to the local authorities. Stay in school, kids. Also, some mild language.



Something's changed, but Nate couldn't put his finger on it, not exactly. Odd enough, since Wednesday it felt as if something was different, but for the most part, he was fine. No strange feelings, even if it did seem like everyone else was acting that way... Maybe it was because Valentine's Day was coming up? Unfortunately for Nate, any love interest he had was not here, but that was a good thing too, wasn't it? ... Sure.

In other news, today's the day.

Or the start of a few days, at the least. Nathan has his phone and flashlight, the things he can carry on hand and a small bag. He's not expecting much, but he should be prepared at least. From there, he left the hotel and made his way to one of the sections farther away, maps tucked carefully into the back of his pocket. He's waiting around a location for someone, so is it you that he's waiting for? There's idle pacing for a moment, reluctance to be waiting before he gives a glance to one of the nearby buildings. Pulling out his phone, the descendant of Drake types a simple message, sends it.

Hey, are you coming?

[SATURDAY AFTERNOON] [BUSINESS DISTRICT] [I DON'T KNOW OTHER PEOPLE CAN COME TOO I GUESS?]

[Ryu is coming. He sends a badly typed message in the affirmative, heading out to the business district as fast as he can. He's still moving a little gingerly, but he gets there fast enough.]

[He waves to Nate, bandages peeking out from the thin tears on the side and front of his shirt.]

[When he catches Ryu, there's a wave and smile but once he gets closer and the bandages are seen, the worry's apparent.]

Wha-- Ryu, what happened? Didn't I see you a few days ago?

[amnesiadragon]

[Ryu rubs the back of his neck, a little sheepish.]

I... got into a fight.

[caliberill]

A fight-- why? What was it about? [Don't mind him if he's trying to figure out if he should just get you some professional care or just keep going.]

[He shakes his head.]

It's... it's not his fault. Wasn't his fault. I didn't understand...

[Okay, why does this sound familiar, even if only a little?]

.. You tried to help?

[A breath in and he shakes his head, reaches out to mess with the other's hair.] --It's over now, right? You're okay.

[amnesiadragon]

Yeah.

[laskjdf. He looks up at Nate, blinking a little in confusion.]

Yeah. I'll be fine.

[caliberill]

[Rolling his shoulders, he'll try and brush it off.] Try to be more careful next time, alright?

Now, you ready for this? There'll be some climbing involved here.

Yeah, I'm ready!

[He grins, and cracks his knuckles.]

Business District || Feb 10th Morning || dynamic duo?? others are welcome

[Oh you don't even have to ask she's totally there. She doesn't really know how to work the text thing yet, but she knows who it's from right away.

She heads to the residential area looking for her treasure hunting buddy, carrying a little backpack full of lunch and drinks because you can't go on an adventure without that stuff. When she sees him, she waves and hurries over.]

Alice is here, mister Nate!

[He's grimacing inwardly when he sees Alice because yes, who wouldn't be worried about her? A nod as she comes closer and he smiles.]

Hey, how're you? Ready for this?

[She's not even worried she's totally excited about this treasure hunt! She's prepared and everything. You don't know what you've gotten yourself into.]

Alice is great! How're you, mister Nate?

Yup, I'm all ready. Brought lunch and everything.

I'm alright, excited for this. [He offers her a smile and raises a brow.]

Lunch, huh? We better get started then. Come on, the place on the map is this way.

'Kay. Alice is right behind ya, mister Nate!

What kinda treasure are we looking for today?

[Starting to walk, he glances down to Alice.] Well, there are some reports of some lost jewelry and other things-- so maybe a necklace, some coins?

Should be in one of these buildings-- the abandoned ones, anyway.

Jewelry and coins?

[Her eyes widen in wonder. She's immediately on the lookout for shiny things, raising her hand to shield her eyes as she looks.]

Alice will find stuff for sure, mister Nate! Alice found some stuff in the place I was before--it wasn't a treasure hunt, but there were coins!

[She's thinking she's a real expert, here.]

Oh yeah? Sounds like you're on your way to being an explorer. [He's talking lightly at this point, smiling as they come near a building. There are some planks of wood blocking the doorway but there's an opening underneath and the door's gone.

Motioning to it, he looks back to here before heading in.] Alright, let's try in here--mind your head, Alice.
