What: Sakurako has a crush on Minato. Minato has a crush on V/V. V/V is there to help Sakurako get the guy. Shenanigans ensue.
Rating: PG to PG-13, probably.

[Sakurako's standing outside the karaoke parlor at the appointed time on Friday night, excitedly bouncing on her heels as she waits for Minato and V/V. She knows Minato's already dating Asuka, but that's no reason she can't hang out with him just as friends, right? That's what she keeps telling herself, anyway. But all the same, she's dressed up again like she was on the phone call the other day - cute t-shirt with some adorable animal or another on it, a light jacket, red ribbons in her hair, a cute skirt, knee-high socks, and once again she's got lip gloss on.

Hey, a girl can dream.

She's given V/V instructions ahead of time for how to handle the evening - hang out in the karaoke room singing and having a good time for a while, then get up and declare she needs to use the bathroom and 'get lost' for a while trying to find it. That should give her plenty of time alone with Minato, and if something's going to happen, that's when it'll happen. It might be a little disingenuous of her, but the event magic is coming on pretty strongly and Sakurako's always been the type not to question things and just go with the flow. And so she waits.]

[V/V shows up dressed pretty plainly in a simple white dress. She's not going to take attention away from her friend, because that would be mean of her. She's just going to have fun and help out.]

[But it's too bad, as V/V catches the main guy's eye more than Sakurako. Minato's more or less dressed just as ordinarily, with his standard casual winter garb. He's pretty careless when it comes to fashion, which he somehow manages to pull off anyway.]

[That's okay. He could be wearing anything at this point and Sakurako would think he looked like a prince. Her eyes light up as she sees him coming, and she waves enthusiastically.]

Minato, hey! You look great!

[V/V waves too.]

Nice to see you, too~

[You know, normally any guy would die to be in his place right now. So what is this dreaded feeling?]

You look great.

[Said to V/V but with his current position he could appear to be saying to both.]

[Clever boy! And because it's Sakurako and she's not that perceptive anyway, she'll cheerfully assume it was meant for her and loop her arm through his.]

Come on, let's go! We need to sing for at least three hours!

[Dragging him in~]

[Giggling, V/V follows them in.] Between us that's an hour of singing each, right?

[And this is the second time he has a girl dragging him. And he's not too happy, even though he lets her do it because...what else could he do?]

That sounds fair.

[Sakurako breezes through the front of the place like a pro, ordering three hours in a private booth and putting down enough money for all of them without a second thought. She also arranges to have some drinks brought in, with unlimited refills. Just soda, of course - she's not that good. And within minutes, the three of them are sitting in a booth together. Sakurako has of course made sure she's sitting next to Minato at least on one side.]

Okay! What should we sing first?

I don't know that many of the songs they play now, actually... I'll let one of you two go first, okay?

[Of course, Minato winds up not sitting next to the girl he actually wants. le sigh]

[Sakurako claps enthusiastically. She can't wait to hear him.]

[V/V is also excited!]

I'm sure you'll do great.

[With that, he goes scrolling through the song list...oh, a new Lotus Juice song? That's pretty cool. But, since he's with girls, better stick to stuff he's familiar.

After a bit, he decides on this song.]

Wow, that was awesome, Minato!

[Hugging his arm!]

Okay, my turn next!

[Sakurako jumps up enthusiastically, flipping through songs like a pro until she finally arrives at this song.]

Usually Kugimi sings these, but I'll give it a shot!

[To her credit, Sakurako's voice is actually pretty good. She is in a band back home, after all, and sings lead vocals on some of their songs.]

[V/V tries not to take too long picking one, so she ends up settling on the first thing she sees that she knows that she can sing, which is this song. And V/V's voice is also really good, as everyone knows.]

[Indeed it is. Well, if it's a samurai she wants, a samurai she'll get.

Time for a song that's not rap (and actually sung by his seiyuu).]

Maybe Minato could come sing with the band sometimes! Like a guest vocalist or something when we need some deep guy parts!

[Sakurako smiles, queueing up her next selection as the first round of drinks arrive.]

I think that would be a great idea. [V/V takes a sip of her drink while flipping through the booklet for more songs she might know.] He should've told us he was a good singer.

[Okay, not really. He just never bothers to tell unless asked.]

I bet you have a lot of those, huh? You're so mysterious~

[Sakurako giggles, taking a sip of her own soda.]

He is. But he's also very silly.

[When her turn comes around, V/V chooses to walk like an Egyptian.]

[Indeed. He could say both of them apply to V/V too. He's trying not to stare at her too much, but can't help himself...

Woah where did this dizzy spell come from?]

[She puts a hand on his shoulder to try to steady him a little.]

[V/V comes over to his other side with a worried expression and puts a hand on his shoulder too.]
