[V/V's job was pretty loosely defined, and so she spent a lot of time hanging around the bookstore in the uniform looking for people who looked lost.

When Neville approached, she perked up a little.] Can I help you?

Yeah, actually. I'm looking for some books on plants.

In the timeline I'm from, he's already died, so being able to see him again at all was something I didn't think would happen.
