Korra wasn't happy at all with her situation. Not only was she back in a place where she didn't exactly feel welcome at times, she came back from a rough time back home. While she managed to defeat her greatest rival, it came with a price. How could the Avatar, the master of all four elements, have their bending abilities permanently cut off? Not even her mentor, the greatest healer in history, could restore it.

She didn't even announce her return to Prospero. Only if anyone has watched the contact list, they would've noticed something. She didn't even attend her classes or her job. Instead she could be found outside the town, mostly at the beach or, as in this case, out during the Dark Hour.

Several shadows surrounded Korra but she defending herself quite well. She manages by her own martial art skills. If anyone watches, they should've noticed she never summoned her Persona.  Suddenly a Shadow moved in from behind but Undine appears to attack with an Aqua spell. Korra whipped around.

"I didn't ask for your help! Leave me alone!" The Persona gave her a bewildered look but nods and disappears. When the water lady was gone, Korra punches the wall of a nearby building and storms away.

That was so weird.

"So that's your Persona, right?" Zett asked, following her. He'd been avoiding most of the Shadows, but this was something he had to come out in the open for.

Korra whipped around to see an unfamiliar face. Well, if he wasn't a caffinated this hour, then he was of them. She gave a shrug.

"Yeah. I don't like it much though. It's brought more trouble than anything. " She starts to walk to find new shadows to beat up. " I haven't seen you before. Are you new? "

He follows close behind her. "I just got here a couple days ago. What's your name?"

"... Korra," she said with apathetic voice. This was probably the first time she spoke with any of the kidnapped people like herself in a while. "What about you? I guess if you already know about Persona, then you know the basics of this place."

"Zett," he answered, shrugging. "I've heard a few things, but not too much that's useful."

She walked slowly. This is odd. Why weren't there any shadows attacking them now? Usually they'd be swarming the streets. "Interesting name you got there. I'm still not used to this place, mostly about the Persona stuff. I don't like mine at all. It's brought nothing but trouble the moment I summoned it."

"How so? I thought the way it was was something you wanted dead showed up, you summoned your Persona, it killed it for you, and then the Persona went away, right?"

Not that he's seen one in action.

"It's...complicated. Persona are supposed to be these 'manifestations of your personality' or something like that." She sighs and summons Undine. "They're also the best way to beat Shadows, those things that pop out during this time. Still I got my reasons why I don't want to use her."

"Huh." He shrugs. "I'll figure it out when you get mine. How do you get yours?"

She scratched the back of her head, trying to recall that memory while blocking her encounter with a certain troll. "I was just out here and while fighting the shadows she just came around. Sounds like that's how a lot of people got theirs too."

Speaking of Shadows, a few low leveled ones appear in front of them. "Sheesh. Talk about timing."

"Time to kick ass."

...

"I forgot I can't Zio them anymore. This'll be annoying." Zett sighs and falls into a fighting stance.

"Zio... Why does that sound familiar?" There's no time to think as she dodges an attack and counters with a punch.

"Glad you know how to fight though. We might be here for a while." She could see from the corner of her eye a few more shadows were attached to their presence.

Zett's not the greatest hand-to-hand fighter, but he knows how to hold his own. He ducks out of the way of another Shadow and kicks at it, knocking it back a bit.
