When Evening of the 31st--6PM to 11PM
Where: The function hall, City Hall's third floor.
What: PARTY TIME.

[The function hall was no spectacularly grand thing, but it was passable--all in all it was what one might expect from a party held by city officials. Decorations, food, drinks, dancing, the whole nine yards. A few individuals were there early--the Katsaros sisters having assisted in setting up, Detective Gabriel and Officer Harrison slacking off and working security respectively.]

[It was a lighthearted and pleasant atmosphere in general, the only truly unusual thing being the appearance of Prospero's until-then mostly faceless mayor, who one might have been forgiven for doubting even existed until then.]

[There's a lot here. A whole long table full of candy and other miscellaneous food, punch, soda, the usual.]

[Prospero's finest scatterbrained detective is minding his own business a short distance from the bar. He doesn't seem to be drinking on the job, at least.]

[And of course April can be found near the bar; she hasn't really started drinking yet, and instead seems more content to watch all the other people at the party for now.]

[Saori didn't start drinking yet either. Then again she was going to be out during the Dark Hour later so it's best to stay sober until then. She saw April and went over to her. April probably wouldn't notice her in costume at first because her dyed hair and color contacts.]

[Quietly surveying the party from the sidelines is one dark-haired mayor in a costume of her own. Whatever her thoughts on the current state of things, it was hard to tell. She wore an impartial and calm expression, as if remaining the picture of professionalism even at a gathering like this.]

*Kaoru does not want to be here. She linefaces at everything in her angel costume, wondering what the big deal is.*
