Minatsuki | 001 [OPEN]
WHO: Minatsuki Takami and YOU!
WHEN: August 2, Dark Hour
WHERE: The streets of Prospero
SUMMARY: Minatsuki had been keeping a low profile after her raging phone call, but now that she's decided to go out at night...
RATING: PG-13, possibly R given that this is Minatsuki we're talking about.
WARNINGS: Very foul language and potential vivid descriptions of violence.
Minatsuki had been busy trying to set up her flower shop, and subsequently put off Uryuu's suggestion of going outside during midnight. However, now that the shop has been fully established and business has been going rather smoother than expected, Minatsuki was fucking bored. So, what better thing to do than actually check out whatever that guy claimed was interesting?
"The fuck...?"
Holy hell. She didn't expect this. All the puddles of water had become some sticky red substance that reminded her of blood, and there were a few glowing red coffins standing upright scattered about the city. The sky was tinged a disgusting green, illuminated by a giant yellow moon. It was almost like she just stepped into an acid trip. Her observations were cut off when she felt something strike her in the back. Hard. Minatsuki fell over from the force of the impact, but quickly rolled over to get some distance from herself and her assailant. She scrambles to her feet, ready to give her attacker a piece of her mind---
What the fuck was that thing?! Despite her time in Deadman Wonderland, Minatsuki has never seen something like the creature before her. An unidentifiable mass of black with squiggling arms... Only a pair of beady eyes marked its otherwise featureless face. Whatever the case, Minatsuki could handle it... right? Without hesitation, she ripped out the earring from her right ear, letting the blood flow from the lobe. However... aside from her ear bleeding, nothing happened. What?! What happened to her Whip Wing?! This isn't good, not good at all---
The Shadow attacks again, the force knocking her into a nearby brick wall. Crap, she was cornered... She wasn't supposed to be this weak! How dare this thing belittle her! She wasn't going to let it end here, she'll teach this little fucker not to mess with her---
Suddenly, there was a ringing inside of her head.
Thou art I...
Suddenly, the image of an impish young girl appears in front of Minatsuki, and in the blink of an eye, the creature is suddenly engulfed in flames. As the Shadow writhes in agony and finally perishes, Minatsuki's Persona disappears, leaving her very, very confused.
"What...?"

And I am thou...
I'm Lilim. Why don't we play together? ♥

"What...?"

"A number of the people who have been called here, and who have been active during this time of night have manifested these odd abilities. They don't appear to be.... actively corrupting and in fact have assisted our fighting but I suspect there is more to them than just a helpmate against these dark emanations of the warp."

Tears start to well up in her eyes as she sinks to the ground, a very frightened look on her face.
"Th-They have to go through this every day...?" she whimpered, her voice a higher pitch and more soft compared to her normal gruff and loud tone. "That's... so scary---"
Oh right, her ear was still bleeding from her trying to use her Whip Wing. She'll use that to her advantage. She flinches visibly, holding a hand to her ear.
"Ow..."
no subject
He offers her a hand, saying.
"We should get you to a hospital, or at the very least the hotel."
no subject
"I, umm... You're very kind, sir, but this is nothing," she gives a sheepish smile. There was no way she's going to a fucking hospital. "Though, umm... I own a flower shop nearby... I live there, but... I might get attacked on my way back."
She'll tremble in fear and sniffle.

"You appear to be able to walk, are you ready?"
no subject
"I-It's that way..."
no subject
"Very well. I shall see to it you make it there safely, and are properly treated. Do you require specific medical supplies to be procured?"
As they walk, Minatsuki may notice an odd pattern to his movements. Almost as if he's used to some assistance, or like he's taking strides that are slightly too long for his body. In an otherwise efficient body, tuned for combat, this may look rather disconcerting to her.

He tended to wander the streets, killing anything that went after him or looked particularly interesting. Tonight was like that, and he had just dispatched another particularly stupid Shadow when he noticed Minatsuki in the distance.
He didn't bother to put away his bloody knife before heading over to her, coming to a stop in front of her a respectable distance. Very polite. "Hey."
no subject
"Oh, it's you," she doesn't return the greeting as she gets up and brushes the dirt off her skirt. "Tell me what the fuck's going on here, Uryuu."

"Oh, so that's what they call it?" Minatsuki doesn't know if it'll be a good move to tell him this, but... "I just got one of those things a few minutes ago, myself. It's a pretty damn good trade-off, seeing that I can't fucking use my Whip Wing anymore."
no subject
How many people has he killed anyway, even not counting the time he spent with Caster? It had to be about forty... Or more than that. He's lost count.
no subject
"Well, ain't that some shit," she comments nonchalantly as she stretches her arms a bit. "This place is kinda pissing me off, so... So why don't we find more of 'em and have some fun?"
