A very large man had taken up residence in the bar downtown...and had started drinking rather heavily. Barrels of what appeared to be whine were open all around him, and there were plenty of empty classes and mugs for drinking.

In fact, that is his intention. He has already invited some, and expects others to just flock to him...so come drink with the King.

...And sitting next to the King, with a glass of water, was one hapless monk who was apparently now the King's vassal and thus required to come drinking. Water was a liquid. He was drinking it. His requirement was fulfilled.

"You really didn't hold back, did you?" he said more to himself than to Rider.

Alexander let out a hardy laugh and slapped the boy on the back again.

"You should have some wine too!"

Issei rubbed his back where the bruise from the last time Rider kept slapping him in a friendly manner hadn't yet healed.

"I would rather not. My constitution is low when it comes to alcohol and I get drunk easily."

He let out a hearty laugh before downing another large mug of wine.

Oh, a lady? It was rare for a woman to partake of the drink along side the men, but he wasn't objecting.

"I hope it isn't too strong for you. We don't dilute our wine in Macedonia like those Athenian pixies, so it might be a bit much for a woman."

She just blinks at him for a moment, before shaking her head with a small grin.

"Nah, it's alright! I may not look it, but I'm pretty good at holding my alcohol."

[Kaiji slips in after work, needing something to help him unwind. He couldn't help stare at the huge dude with the open barrels of wine, though.]
