[Ingrid was sitting on the old paisely couch in the front lobby, flipping through the channels to find the weather. Her grade book and a stack of papers lay beside her, and every time a student of hers entered she would give them a knowing look.]

[He's not usually one to socialize-- but he'll sit down in a nearby chair. Right now, if it's solid and not moving, it sounds like a fantastic place to rest. And that paperwork definitely catches his attention.]

In my readings, societies like that tend to be overbearing, tyrannical even. If that was what you were up against, you did right by keeping skeptical of their so called truths.

[April yawns as she walks into the lobby, her usual bag of books slung over her shoulder. Though when she spots Ingrid flipping through the tv channels, she stops and thinks for a moment, before sitting on another seat in front of the tv, giving the other woman a small smile as she does so.]

[Ingrid looks up and returns the gesture, pausing in her channel surfing.]

Aha, yep. I should probably stop with all the late nights I've been having lately. [Since fighting Shadows every night was getting pretty tiring.]
