Shirou had noticed that after the event and hijinks with the Shadows, Saber looked quite depressed over things, which was natural considering the nature of the most recent event, what's with them forming from the repressed emotions that one usually kept under lock and key.

He hated being able to do nothing as he looked over her, and thus enlisted the help of another person dear to Saber, Diarmuid, who used to be known as Lancer before coming clean throughout the whole network. Luckily, he agreed to help him, and with the basic framework of the plan having been done, all they need to do for now is to decide on what to make for a banquet exclusively made for her.

[Right, so they went and got the ingredients, and are now both in the apartment just staring at those grocery bags.

The silence was then broken by Shirou turning to the definitely older man and saying:]

...So, what are you planning to cook for her?

I'm not sure--I'm not much more than passable, but I have a recipe book or two around here somewhere.

[Shirou's currently busy with making some curry, and well, that pot Lancer should be checking is a pot of Miso soup.]

...It's certainly edible, but I'm really not sure what miso soup's meant to taste like.

I don't think Kayneth or Sola had much of a taste for Japanese food, to be quite honest with you. I don't know what this is meant to taste like, but it seems alright.

If Shirou tells Saber to do something, she'll generally follow through with his request so long as it didn't place him in harm's way. So if he tells her to go to someone's hotel room, she will. Dressed in her favored casual clothes, she'll knock on the door to his room. ]
