Who: April Sinclair and Ledah Rozwelli
What: A date, despite April saying that it isn't.
When: Friday 20th, 6pm
Where: Starting at their room, and then moving to a restaurant.

April sighed as she smoothed out the dress she's wearing; she had been nervous for most of the day and it didn't seem like it was going away any time soon, despite her attempts to convince herself that no, she will not mess this up somehow.

But, she forces herself to calm down and hesitantly walks out of the rooms bathroom (she had went in there to change, since she didn't think wearing her usual shorts+shirt would be the best thing to wear), glancing over to her roommate.

"Um, you ready to go, Ledah?"

She nods, eyebrows furrowed slightly as she mentally noted this, before giving him another smile. "Ah, thanks! Now I'll know what to cook when I feel like making something for you."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I appreciate all that you do for me, April. There's no need to thank me," Ledah replied, a bit confused.

[technologic]

She just tilts her head slightly. "Why not? The last thing I want to do is make you something you won't like, so what you told me is helpful."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I'm not used to the proper etiquette for receiving gifts, so this is still confusing."

[technologic]

"I'll admit, I don't really know much about the proper etiquette either." She laughs sheepishly. "I think just saying 'thank you' is enough, if you like it. And if you don't, I guess it would be best to just tell the person who gave you it..."

She rubs the back of her neck, still not looking too sure about what she said.

[gaveupfeeling]

"I see. I hope it's that simple." Ledah frowns, thinking.

[technologic]

A nod, before she smiles reassuringly. "Hopefully... But, ah, at least you don't need to worry about that when I give you something. A 'thank you' is more than enough for me. And if you don't like anything I give you, feel free to tell me."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I will be completely honest with you." He always was.

[technologic]

"I'm glad to hear that." She smiles brightly at him, before her attention is shifted to their dessert being served. It does look good, but April makes no moves to eat it yet, instead glancing at Ledah.

"Do you want to try it first?"

[gaveupfeeling]

"You can try it first, since you ordered it."

[technologic]

"Ah, okay." So, after hesitating for a second, she goes to try a small piece of it and soon nods with a smile.

"Hm, it tastes really good!"

[gaveupfeeling]

"Excellent." He tries a piece himself. "...this is delicious, you're right."

[technologic]

"Hehe, that's good! I'm glad you like it." She relaxes a bit in relief, since she was worried that he might not like it.

[gaveupfeeling]

He takes another small bite. "Make sure to get your share."

[technologic]

"Ah, right! ... Um, would having a half each be all right?"

[gaveupfeeling]

"That would be fine."

[technologic]

A nod. "Okay! And lemme know if I eat too much of it; I sometimes have a habit of doing that."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I'm sure it will be fine, April."

[technologic]

She gives him a small smile and a nod, before going back to munching on the dessert, making sure not take any too big pieces.

Though April is a fast eater, and since she's only eating half of it, it's not long until she finishes her half and leans back in her seat with a content hum.

"Ah, that was really good!"

[gaveupfeeling]

"It is." Ledah is a little slower to finish his. "You chose well."

[technologic]

"Ehe, thanks! I'm lucky that I managed to find this place." She's silent as she thinks for a moment.

"But still, I'm glad you like... Maybe we could come here again another day, if you wanted to?"

[gaveupfeeling]

"I would enjoy that." Ledah wipes his face before smiling at her. "Please tell me when you're free."

[technologic]

April smiles back and gives him a nod. "I-I will... Thanks, Ledah."

[gaveupfeeling]

"Any time." He pauses. "...Are we splitting the bill?"

[technologic]

"Oh, I-I can pay for it. I'm pretty sure I've got enough."
