Who: April Sinclair and Ledah Rozwelli
What: A date, despite April saying that it isn't.
When: Friday 20th, 6pm
Where: Starting at their room, and then moving to a restaurant.
Rating: PG

April sighed as she smoothed out the dress she's wearing; she had been nervous for most of the day and it didn't seem like it was going away any time soon, despite her attempts to convince herself that no, she will not mess this up somehow.

But, she forces herself to calm down and hesitantly walks out of the rooms bathroom (she had went in there to change, since she didn't think wearing her usual shorts+shirt would be the best thing to wear), glancing over to her roommate.

"Um, you ready to go, Ledah?"

"Of course."

Ledah had stopped somewhere between 'suit' and 'casual' - in red, of course. He moved to the door, adding over his shoulder, "You look nice."

[technologic]

A blink and a blush, before she gives a small smile as she follows.

"U-um, thank you. Y-you look nice, too."

[gaveupfeeling]

A similar smile appeared on Ledah's face.

"Thank you, April. I'm glad you invited me out."

[technologic]

Cue the blush becoming a bit brighter.

"Y-you're welcome. I j-just thought it would be nice if we w-went out together for something o-other than patrols."

She fidgets for a moment, before opening the door.

"A-anyway, shall we get going?"

"Let's." Ledah followed her out the door, heading for the stairs. (He rarely took the elevator - less exercise.)

[technologic]

April follows, once making sure the room door is locked. And down the stairs they go.

"The restaurant isn't too far from here, so it won't take us long to get there."

[gaveupfeeling]

"Excellent. I'm getting fairly hungry already."

[technologic]

She gives him a grin. "Same here. Luckily the food there doesn't cost a lot, so we can eat as much as we want."

It doesn't take them to long to get down to the lobby, and this is where April will start to lead the way to the restaurant.

[gaveupfeeling]

"You've chosen wisely." Ledah follows her without complaint, taking in the fresh winter air.

[technologic]

She gives him another grin as she continues to lead the way, and side-stepping any patches of ice along the way. "Thank you. And it's gotten good reviews, so the food should be good too."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I trust in your taste." Ledah is careful not to slip on any ice - that would be embarrassing.

[technologic]

Luckily, April was right about it not being too far, as it isn't long till they arrive.

"Here we are!"

Said restaurant, while looking a bit small, does look nice and April will continue to lead the way into it. And it does at least smell good in there.

[gaveupfeeling]

"It looks nice." Ledah unnecessarily repeats the narration as he follows to where an employee will take them to their seats.

[technologic]

She smiles, before chatting to an employee for a moment, who takes them over to their table and hands them menus when they take their seats.

Cue April squinting at her menu since she's never heard of most of this food before.

[gaveupfeeling]

"...Do you need any help with anything?"

Ledah's eaten out more often, apparently.

[technologic]

"Huh? N-no, it's okay, I've just... never really heard of some of this food before..."

The last part comes out as an embarrassed mumble. She tended to cook a lot, but she didn't know as many foods as she had thought she did.

[gaveupfeeling]

"I don't recognize some of the fruits from home, but I've tried them before."

[technologic]

"Hmm..." She looks over the menu again, frowning in thought.

"... Do you know what you're gonna order?"

[gaveupfeeling]

"Perhaps the steak," Ledah decides after a moment. "And you?"

[technologic]

"Ummmmm..." Some more squinting at the menu before she makes her decision. "I'll try the, um, spaghetti."

Good thing April has made her decision, since here's the waiter, who April quickly gives her order to with only minor stuttering.

[gaveupfeeling]

Ledah gives his order as well, then turns back to her. "Thank you once again for inviting me out."

[technologic]

April blushes faintly, but gives him a small smile.

"Oh, y-you're welcome. I just t-thought it would be nice if we did something like this."

[gaveupfeeling]

"We should go out more often." Ledah says this nonchalantly.

[technologic]

Annnd cue the blush getting a bit brighter, but her smile brightens.

"I-I agree... Is there anything you would want to do if we got out again?"

[gaveupfeeling]

"...Could we fly kites again?" Ledah asks quietly.
