What: Even an event doesn't stop these two from going out on a date.

Where: Starting at their room, and then going around the city.
Rating: PG/ Maybe PG-13-ish

[Well, suddenly getting her powers back was a pleasant surprise, although it was also a bit worrying cause stuff like this doesn't happen without a consequence of some sort. But she wasn't going to let this ruin their date; she didn't have a planned idea in mind, besides going to the beach at the end, but she was sure they could find something fun to do together.

So, after having bundled herself up and adjusted her scarf around her neck, along with making sure the dog would be fine on his own, she'll glance over at Ledah as she pulls her boots on.]

You nearly ready to go, Ledah?

Absolutely.

[Ledah pulls his coat on and walks over to the door.]

Hah... If it gets cold at the beach I could start a fire.

[technologic]

That you could! And if it gets too dark, I could be a light source or something. [She grins at him, before walking out the door, sticking her hands in her pockets.]

Though I hope you don't mind me dragging you around town until we get there.

Not at all. Feel free to take me anywhere you like.

[He follows her with a smile.]

[She giggles with a faint blush, before making sure the door is locked and then heading down the stairs.]

Let's see... I've heard that a new bookshop has opened in the town. And I wanna try one of those 'christmas drinks' that are being advertised right now...

[gaveupfeeling]

What is Christmas? I know that it's a holiday, but what does it celebrate?

[technologic]

[She pauses at that, and she tilts her head as she thinks.]

I think it's... to celebrate the birth of someone really important, but I can't remember who it was. But I do know it's a really big holiday that's celebrated nearly everywhere.

[gaveupfeeling]

Curious. I will have to learn more about it by the time it comes.

[technologic]

Same here. And I wanna find out how this 'Santa Claus' fits into all this, since I'm pretty sure he's not related to whoevers birthday it is.

[gaveupfeeling]

...I've seen pictures. He looks a little like me if I was balding and going grey.

[technologic]

[Blink. And then she laughs quietly.]

Hmm, he does a bit, doesn't he? Though I think you would be a lot more better looking.

[gaveupfeeling]

Perhaps he needs a diet.

[technologic]

Probably. I've heard that kids sometimes leave food out for him, so maybe he should stop eating them the moment he gets to their houses and save some for later instead. That might help cut the weight down.

[gaveupfeeling]

Then someone should suggest that to him.

[technologic]

He always vanishes before people can see him though. But leaving him a note to tell him to go on a diet could work.

I'll do that on Christmas Eve.

[technologic]

Good idea! ... And I've also heard of people leaving food out for the reindeer, so maybe we should do that too, since they work really hard.

[gaveupfeeling]

What do reindeer eat?

[technologic]

I'm... not sure. I'll need to find that out later, though I've heard people usually leave carrots out for them. But I'll look it up and see if reindeer have certain favorite foods or something.

[gaveupfeeling]

That would be the best plan. Leaving out something inedible would be rude.

[technologic]

[Nod, nod.] Exactly. Especially when they travel around so much, so they at least deserve a decent snack... and maybe some water too.

[gaveupfeeling]

Does he have any other accompaniment?

[technologic]

Hmm... No, I don't think so. I think it's just him and the reindeers.

[gaveupfeeling]

Then that should be enough for them to be satisfied.

[technologic]

Mmhm, that's true...

[April glances over at him, fidgeting shyly for a second, before moving to gently hold his hand.]

[gaveupfeeling]

You hardly need to be nervous when we're on a date.

[He's picking up on signs of emotion now yessss.]
