Magician Full Moon Log

[Tonight, when midnight of the full moon hits, a certain large Arcana will make it's presence known; the Magician Arcana will be appearing outside the police station, a small group of Shadows appearing around it. The small number of helper Shadows might seem to be a relief, except this is a new Shadow that nobody has ever seen before. Characters with Analysis will be able to discover that the Shadows in this group are a lot stronger than they appear:

Sleeping Table (Magician): It has no weaknesses, blocks light/darkness spells and strike, and resists slash, pierce and fire. It attacks by using fire and almighty spells, and inflicts fear.

Persona users will have to fight in groups and work together in order to take down these new Shadows and the Magician Arcana, as this fight can only be won once all the Shadows plus the Magician Arcana have been defeated. Luckily, Persona users will find they are no longer suffering from haywire powers but they have also lost the abilities.]

NOTES
» Groups can consist of three to six people.
» The group of Shadows consists of five Sleeping Tables. These must all be defeated along with the Magician Arcana, as defeating the Magician Arcana first will not cause them to vanish or retreat. Though with the Magician Arcana also attacking Persona users, this will be a challenging fight. Luckily, it doesn't have the same resists and blocks as the Sleeping Tables, but it also has no weaknesses.

[Okay, so first things first; get those tables out of the way and then go for the main Shadow. She summons Nut behind her and after readying a Maha Garula, she moves in to attack one of the Sleeping Tables.]

[Ledah will be ready to heal her when she starts to get hurt, but in the meantime, he stays mostly back, unable to contribute to the fight offensively and hating it.]

[She actually manages to do well so far, and lands a few hits on a Sleeping Table. Until it decides to use fire on her, and she jumps away from it with a loud curse, rubbing her burnt arm.]

Of course it would use fire, it's already been a pain already...

Diaharan.

[A healing glow passes over April's body.]

[She gives a quiet sigh of relief, and gives him a quick smile.]

Thank you, Ledah!

[And she stops a Sleeping Table from going towards him with another Maha Garula, quickly hopping out of the way of another fire attack.]

... Barely even started and already this is annoying.

This is going to be a long fight, it seems.

[Ledah's doing his best to evade attacks on his own.]

*Kaoru's punches and kicks keep getting deflected, and she lands on her feet, glaring at the Shadows in front of her.*

Tch. Persona!

*Tengu appears and uses Kill Rush on the nearest Sleeping Table. Predictably, nothing happens.*

Why won't these things die?

[Alice's almighty attacks, on the other hand, land fine.]

...*Kaoru studies it and looks around.* It seems to resist a lot of things.

[Why yes, Yayoi's here too. Even though she's still low leveled, she wasn't going to turn a blind eye to something like this.]

No kidding.

*Kaoru, for her part, is not attacking Yayoi. V/V may have had something to do with that.*

Maybe this will work. Tengu, intimidate them.

*Tengu casts Evil Smile across the board in hopes that it hits something.*

[After realizing fire doesn't do jack against the Sleeping Tables, Saori attempts to punch one of them. Let's just say it doesn't turn out too well as she steps back and holding her hand.]

Owww...alright...guess I can't hit it either.

Then just stay out of the way.

*Only his sword barely leaves a scratch either. He growls in frustration, before backing off and letting his Persona have a turn.*

Maha Zio!

[Once the electricity seems to be clear, Pellegri darts forward. She slashes upward at the target, then quickly moves back. Seeing how it's not doing as much damage as she'd like, she gives an indignant huff. Ethers would be nice.]

[Well, this puts Saori into a major bind. If she did have her powers, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. She steps back.]

Rakukaja!

Fine, I'll standby for healing and raising your defenses.

*He nods, then glances at Pellegri as he fires off another Maha Zio.*

Pellegri, keep its attention as well as you can, but stay clear between attacks. I don't have a more directed electrical attack.

*And hopefully Pellegri would manage to awaken her Persona here and would have something other than fire or physical.*

[Why don't we just talk about Jin some more, if frustration is the goal? She gives him a nod and moves in to slash again. This time not retreating as far between attacks, but enough to get some reaction time when it attacks.]

[Ein was a little overconfident and didn't bother taking any weapons that weren't Einherjar with him, and now it is gone.

...Well. Fortunately, he has a Persona with wind spells... er... a singular weak wind spell. It is just kind of plonking away at the tables a little bit at a time, blasting through its skeletal face out of its brass trumpet.

He doesn't seem to be making much progress.]

[Those wind spells may be doing a little more damage now, thanks to the pity of a serial killer.]
