The second victim
WHO: Kaito and the mystery killer.
WHEN: August 9th, before midnight.
WHERE: The crime scene area.
SUMMARY: Kaito is investigating, not noticing he falls into the rat trap.
RATING: PG-13, probably R?
WARNINGS: Possible death.
Since the news yesterday, Kaito couldn't lay his fingers on it. Pretty much he wanted to know what was going on, and something stroke him weird on the phase from the news. 'The first murder case in over ten years'. What happened ten years ago? It's very big gap of years, and also the exact ten didn't make sense.
That night, Kaito prepared himself for patrol again, but he went out early this time. He turned to his watch, which showed ten o'clock.
"Still got about two hour before the Dark Hour. For meantime, check around the resident if something unusual. Then, here goes another round when Dark Hour. What was the victim's name again? ...Rodgers. Hmm, better be careful with the police around, or Naoto is going to yell at me."
He packed himself with rations and cellphone, but he didn't bring his weapon this time. He's patrolling around, not killing any weak shadows tonight. He patted the sleeping Hachune on the head before he walked out from the room. Once he's out from the hotel, he noticed police is still around. Probably, they're going to sleep late tonight. He knew police didn't help much during Dark Hour. If they couldn't do it, then Kaito will.
The Rodgers's resident area was empty. The neighborhoods were sending to other places for safety, and not much police around there. What's just left only a long crime scene tape around the house. At least, it used to keep the people away, not intruders. Kaito stepped into the house, but he found nothing much. Most of the evidence was taken. Kaito not used to play cops, but he just knew how it went. He stood right behind of the house, and it's mostly dark and quiet. He took a glance on the watch as he stood behind the light of the moon. He had already spent an hour. Since there's nothing much to do, he kept looking around the house for clues, not noticing an unknown visitor been watching him.

Huh, was he going to have to get rid of the body? He used to do that, but lately he just hadn't bothered. Watching people panic, that was fun too. He'd leave Kaito behind when he was done dying.

He made a one last silly laugh at his stupidly, before he dropped the cellphone next to him and let the darkness took his life. This must be how he was 'uninstalled', and it was the first time he experienced it.

Ryuunosuke headed back to the hotel, making his way at first under the cover of the trees before he decided it was safe enough to walk in the open. He whistled a cheery tune, wondering how long it would take this one to end up on the news, too.
