When: Aug 16th, Dark Hour.
Where: City Streets.
Summary: Having no power, a man with ideals decides to gain power to reach his goal.
Rating: PG-13 / R for violence and possible swearing depending on how the log goes.
Warnings: Shirou is a dumb idiot. This is a fact.

[...without his Magecraft, Shirou is just a powerless man who can't save everyone he meets. To be a hero, he has to be able to defeat these so-called Shadows, and gain the power of Persona, not necessarily in that order.

He won't let anyone else be hurt anymore, he'll make sure of that.

Which is why Shirou is currently wandering around during the Dark Hour.

See, this would probably a normal sight if he actually wields a sword instead of... Well, you know. A pipe.

"Tch!"

A man wielding two swords hops backwards as a strong blast of ice magic nails the ground where he once was. A monster in the shape of a glove (http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110807093061/megamitensei/images/6/69/Dancing_Hand.png) skitters towards him, but the man leaps forward, slashing viciously at the monster. It sputters and stops moving.

"Phew! Ha! These beasts are fierce!"

The large man is laughing. He is wearing a t-shirt and a pair of jeans with tennis shoes, though it's obvious to see he has a strong, powerful frame. He wipes his brow and turns--seeing a kid... with a stick...

"Hey. You. With the stick. You wish to fight the beasts of the Darkest Hour of night with that?"

"Its better than fighting it with bare hands."

Shirou replied to the obviously older male as he did not disengage from the ready stance he assumed as soon as the other guy jumped into his view.

"Is it?"

He smirks grimly.

"There is no honor from stupidity."

Enkidu watches him for a moment, observing his stance before looking around again. It is clear, so he casually walks toward the pipe-wielding man. Still at some distance from the teenager, with a sword in hand he raises it above his head and brings it down onto the asphalt, burying the tip of the blade in. He leaves the sword there and takes a few steps back, scanning the surrounding for more of these Shadows.

"Here. At least now if we die, we can die honorably. Like proud warriors should."

...Shirou looks at the sword in a confused manner. Its a basic one, but nonetheless a better weapon than his metal pipe, which he appreciates a bit. But still... that was awfully kind of him, even if they haven't met before.

"...uh, thanks."

"Be wary. They use trickery and magicks. The ones that look like hands can cast frigid attacks," Enkidu warns in a ready position, backing toward Shirou. His attentions are set away from the boy.

"Yeah, I've fought a few of these just earlier tonight."

Shirou replied to Enkidu, still in his stance, and ready to pounce at any Shadow that does so much as move from their stationary locations on the ground.
