Where: City Streets.
Summary: Having no power, a man with ideals decides to gain power to reach his goal.
Rating: PG-13 / R for violence and possible swearing depending on how the log goes.
Warnings: Shirou is a dumb idiot. This is a fact.

[...without his Magecraft, Shirou is just a powerless man who can't save everyone he meets. To be a hero, he has to be able to defeat these so-called Shadows, and gain the power of Persona, not necessarily in that order.

He won't let anyone else be hurt anymore, he'll make sure of that.

Which is why Shirou is currently wandering around during the Dark Hour.

See, this would probably a normal sight if he actually wields a sword instead of... Well, you know. A pipe.

Kaito was at his usual spot, he couldn't sleep that night, considering he woke up from the underworld. It seemed the case of murder not yet quiet down, so he'd better training harder than he used to be. He wasn't going to let his guard down any moment.

And there's where he met another newcomer, having the pipe as a weapon.

"...What are you doing here?"

"Tch!"

A man wielding two swords hops backwards as a strong blast of ice magic nails the ground where he once was. A monster in the shape of a glove (http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110807093061/megamitensei/images/6/69/Dancing_Hand.png) skitters towards him, but the man leaps forward, slashing viciously at the monster. It sputters and stops moving.

"Phew! Ha! These beasts are fierce!"

The large man is laughing. He is wearing a t-shirt and a pair of jeans with tennis shoes, though it's obvious to see he has a strong, powerful frame. He wipes his brow and turns--seeing a kid... with a stick...

"Hey. You. With the stick. You wish to fight the beasts of the Darkest Hour of night with that?"

[Figures one of these days Saori would get so wrapped up in trying to do research in the library that she'd get kicked out when they were closing.

That's just the small problem. She had the luck of not being told of the Dark Hour and is now running from some Shadows. And no, she does not have her Person just yet.

Fortunately, she sees Shirou as she's headed his way. She hates to be a damsel in distress but this scenario totally calls for it.]

Could use a little help here!

[Ever since the news reported Kaito's death, Atsuro's been training hard, at day and at night. Tonight is no exception.

Atsuro's making sure he's not straying too far from the school dorms, taking on lonely Shadows he recognise and can be taken down. After Amirani strike it down, he looks around and notice someone.]

[DID SOMEONE CALL FOR A HERO WITH A METAL PIPE?]

[Or two in this case. Lancer just wouldn't be Lancer without dual wielding, now would he? Now if you'll excuse him, the ~actual~ hero here would just be swinging one of said pipes at the nearest Shadow.]

[He stood confident and unafraid, wearing the armor he'd arrived in and looking every bit like a proud hero...well, every bit save for the fact that he was using thin bits of metal as weapons.]
