Who:
fatestayhome and
thevelvetkey!
When: Aug 16th, Dark Hour.
Where: City Streets.
Summary: Having no power, a man with ideals decides to gain power to reach his goal.
Rating: PG-13 / R for violence and possible swearing depending on how the log goes.
Warnings: Shirou is a dumb idiot. This is a fact.
[...without his Magecraft, Shirou is just a powerless man who can't save everyone he meets. To be a hero, he has to be able to defeat these so-called Shadows, and gain the power of Persona, not necessarily in that order.
He won't let anyone else be hurt anymore, he'll make sure of that.
Which is why Shirou is currently wandering around during the Dark Hour.
See, this would probably a normal sight if he actually wields a sword instead of... Well, you know. A pipe.
Care to disturb him before he gets himself into a huge mess?]

...you have a point, I guess.
[But again, will he follow them? WEEEEELLLL]

[Oh shit was that a joke. I think it was.]
As it stands now, since we're both here I may as well accompany you for now so we can each be sure the other isn't overwhelmed.

[And off they go beating up Shadows everywhere?]

Alright. Perhaps you're a bit better than I expected.

[He wants to compliment Lancer's battle prowess, but he refrained from doing so because well. That guy has a lot of experience in fights like these.
But it looks like they're getting slightly surrounded here despite Lancer's experience, so... what do?]
1/2; shirou i am about to blow your tiny mind
[Sighing, Lancer took a more defensive stance, concentrating. Since the fight with Ryuunosuke, he'd felt a little more confident about summoning his Persona--or maybe that was just the desire to fight alongside a knight so well known to him.]
[I'd like to ask for your help again. I doubt even I can keep doing this on my own.]
CĂș Chulainn-!

[There was a confident and even thrilled smirk on his face as the Persona vanished--even now he couldn't believe just who he had fighting with him.]
Heh. I warned you that you might be outnumbered.
1/2
[On one hand he's all wow that's cool.]
2/2
That's not Lancer.

[LET'S THROW IN SOME NAME CONFUSION TO MAKE IT WORSE. In his defense, Lancer was pretty used to being called...well, Lancer.]

[note to self: be more specific next time.]

He certainly should be, I can't really imagine Ulster's Prince of Light looking any different.

He doesn't wear a lot of white.
[Or any white at all...]

excuse you, shirou]If that's the most glaring issue here, I hardly think we should have a problem.
no subject
[In attitude.]

[are you talking shit about brohound, Shirou. Because you are cruising for a punch if you are.]
You're not serious.

[He really looks like he's telling the truth.]

[NOT SURE IF BUYING IT]

I suggest you choose your next words carefully.

...
A lot of them.
[But that's just going from how he perceived him through their sparse encounters with each other.]
