Who: April Sinclair and Ledah Rozwelli
What: A date, despite April saying that it isn't.
When: Friday 20th, 6pm
Where: Starting at their room, and then moving to a restaurant.

April sighed as she smoothed out the dress she's wearing; she had been nervous for most of the day and it didn't seem like it was going away any time soon, despite her attempts to convince herself that no, she will not mess this up somehow.

But, she forces herself to calm down and hesitantly walks out of the rooms bathroom (she had went in there to change, since she didn't think wearing her usual shorts+shirt would be the best thing to wear), glancing over to her roommate.

"Um, you ready to go, Ledah?"

Pfffft.

"That's good. Looks like I made the right decision in choosing this place."

She munches on her food some more, before a thought comes to mind. "... Hey, um, say if I made food like this one day, w-would it be all right if I asked you to, u, taste-test some of them? Since it's good to have a second opinion..."

[gaveupfeeling]

Smile. "I would be perfectly willing to - that seems reasonable."

[technologic]

"Thank you, Ledah! I've been wanting to improve on my cooking for a while, so this'll be a big help."

She's pretty much radiating happiness at this point.

[gaveupfeeling]

"All you need to do is ask."

Ledah too seems pleased, if in a more subdued fashion.

[technologic]

She gives a nervous giggle, though she nods in agreement.

"True... Um, I'll admit that I've been nervous about asking you somethings before, since I thought they were silly things to ask."

She twirls some spaghetti around her fork in thought for a moment.

"But still, it makes me happy to know you're okay with helping me out."

[gaveupfeeling]

"Of course. I would not spend so much time with you if I did not wish to be in your company, April." His lips quirk up a little more at that.

[technologic]

She could feel her face start to warm up again, but she can't help smiling some more.

"T-thank you. I really like spending time with you, so I'm happy to hear that.

... Then, I guess that means it's all right if I asked you out to dinner again one day?"

[gaveupfeeling]

"I would be all right with that," Ledah answered without hesitation.

[technologic]

"That's great! Then I'll make sure to ask you again one day."

Now she smiles cheerfully, though her expression soon turns thoughtful.

"And, ah, since I don't think I've said it yet... Thank you, for coming out with me tonight. I'm, um, really happy you did."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I enjoyed it just as much. There is no need for thanks."

Ledah thinks. "...Should we get dessert?"

[technologic]

She smiles in slight embarrassment, but then she blinks at him when he mentions dessert, giving a few nods.

"Ah, y-yes... If, um, that's all right with you."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I don't have much experience with desserts. What do you think looks best?" he asks, rifling through the menu. "We could share one.

[technologic]

"Umm, well, the chocolate cake or the tiramisu look good..." She flicks through her menu some more, before she blinks up at him again. "... Share one?"

[gaveupfeeling]

"It would reduce the amount of money we spend and the amount of dessert we each feel compelled to eat."

That would be simple, right?

[technologic]

"Ah, yeah, t-that's true. Um, then which dessert would you want?"

[gaveupfeeling]

"I'll just go along with your decision."

[technologic]

"O-okay. Then... maybe the tiramisu. I've never had it before, but it sounds good."

And with her decision made, she gets the attention of a nearby waiter and places the order, before she turns back to Ledah.

"Though, ah, lemme know if you don't like it, since I can order a different dessert."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I'm sure it will be fine." Reassuring smile.

[technologic]

She smiles back, although she still looks a bit unsure. "Well, I'm not too sure about what foods you like, so I want to be careful..."

Silence for a moment while she thinks.

"... Ah, what kind of foods do you like?"

[gaveupfeeling]

He pauses in thoughts. "Various fruits. Apples, pears. Many plain foods. And garlic bread."

[technologic]

She nods, eyebrows furrowed slightly as she mentally noted this, before giving him another smile. "Ah, thanks! Now I'll know what to cook when I feel like making something for you."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I appreciate all that you do for me, April. There's no need to thank me," Ledah replied, a bit confused.

[technologic]

She just tilts her head slightly. "Why not? The last thing I want to do is make you something you won't like, so what you told me is helpful."

[gaveupfeeling]

"I'm not used to the proper etiquette for receiving gifts, so this is still confusing."

[technologic]

"I'll admit, I don't really know much about the proper etiquette either." She laughs sheepishly. "I think just saying 'thank you' is enough, if you like it. And if you don't, I guess it would be best to just tell the person who gave you it..."

She rubs the back of her neck, still not looking too sure about what she said.
