[ As expected, when midnight of the full moon hits, a specific Arcana will make it's presence known. The Lovers Arcana will be resting up too high to actually reach though. Instead, there appears to be two significantly large groups each of various level shadows and do they appear to be protecting something? Further inspection will show that in one group, there's a dark shade that appears to be man-like in appearance and in the opposite group? A shade that appears to be woman-like in appearance. Sound a bit familiar?

It might not take Persona owners long to figure out the goal: defeat both of these shades at the same time. Doing so will force the Lovers to retreat and victory will be achieved. Each shade is protected by a variety of shadows in the second block. ]

♥ Killing one shade (man or woman) without killing the other will result in the other one resurrecting it.
♥ Groups can consist of 3~6 characters.
♥ Characters are still under the effects of the event until the the Dark Hour is over with.

[V/V is staying out of the path of most of the shadows, since she isn't good at self-defense, but Alice is right in there casting her almighty spells on the opponents.

[Really, it's not like Lancer explicitly set out to assist the King of Heroes. Wading through the tides of a battle was something he was accustomed to doing, and this time they'd simply led him here.]

["Here", which is to say his appearance is heralded by a Calm Pesce being physically hurled into a group of smaller shadows in front of Gilgamesh and V/V.

Immune to physical damage, yes. Immune to dealing physical damage? No. Science at work, people.]

Oi. Someone take care of that thing.

[Even for him, lobbing the large shadow around took a bit of effort. He'll take a moment to catch his breath, eyes scanning the nearby area for any immediate threats.]

Well, if you insist.

[ Grainne's demeanor is calm as always despite the heavy combat around her. Stepping up to Lancer's side, she'll slam the axe down into the ground to focus on calling forth her Persona.

One he ought to be familiar with.

Scathach quickly attracts the attention of the Calm Pesce by attacking it with the ice spell 'Bufu' while Grainne flashes the man in blue the sweetest smile she possibly can. ]

[Lancer didn't bat an eyelash as Grainne stepped forward. He's used to strong women, ones who are better versed in the arts of combat than most average men. When she tosses her weapon aside for a moment, the implication is likewise clear. Persona. The common power between all who were spirited away to Prospero.

Oh.

Oh. That.

That was a familiar face.

And then a mix of PTSD and fond memories hit Lancer like a truck!

Still, in the end and even as a persona, Scathach was his teacher, and close to his heart ~~even if she'd probably kick his ass from here to Dublin then around the world a few times for good measure~~. Besides, this was no time to be lost in the past -- even if the shadows were individually pathetic, the sheer number of them made them dangerous.]

[Still. What the hell can he say after seeing something like that?]

This is the face of a girl who knows exactly the relation between her Persona and this man who she fancies just a bit. After all, if the Fianna were wannabe Cu'Chulainns, why wouldn't she be a tad bit fond of the original? ]

Did you like that? [ An all too flirty tone. ] Who would have thought a lass like myself could be so dangerous?

You ask me that after reminding me of another lass who just as dangerous, if not maybe more so.

[Though, evidently, calling his teacher a lass is weird as hell.]

[An attempt at regained composure later, and he grins.] Every rose has it's thorns, I think the saying goes? I'd be more surprised if you were defenseless.

Of course, I could be wrong and that axe could just be for show. [Tease tease tease.]

[ Welp. Leave it to the King of ~~Cockblocking~~Douches to actually do all the work for once. He's already lost a couple of swords to the shade, but that isn't going to stop him so easily. ]

If you two are done flirting, perhaps we could set to the task of actually killing this bastard?

[V/V, at least, is focused on the enemies, and so is Alice therefore.]

Well, then I haven't any choice but to prove otherwise.

[ Goldie, must she show you how it's done? Yes? Well, that's alright with her. Even if the axe is much larger than her, she shows no restraint in swinging it around towards the surrounding shadows, slicing through them with the expertise expected of a being from mythology. ]

Let us make it a game! [ Poof! goes a shadow. ] Whoever slays the most is the victor, yes?

[ The manly shade ~~is totally unimpressed with the flirting~~ lifts his arm to cast an AOE heal spell upon it's guardians just to serve as a reminder that this wasn't going to be an easy fight.

He does pause to whip his head towards his female counterpart, before trying to move away from the group to advance towards her. ]

Oh? I like that challenge. [Stab, slice, jab.]

And, Gilgamesh, some of us aren't so incompetent we can't carry on a conversation and fight at the same time.

[As always, Lancer's a blur of motion. Using the reach of a spear to his advantage and darting in and out of the thick of things.]

[ Somehow, he didn't expect it to be easy. But he's not going to give up regardless of how miserable the outcome looks. He's been through way too much bullshit these last few weeks to worry about tiring at this point. ]

Pazuzu, keep knocking them away with Garu. The rest of you mongrels do whatever you can. If you wish to make it a game, then so be it! Whoever kills the most wins the King's best bottle of wine!

[ Well, it had to be something, right? Seems like a fair enough prize to him. Of course, he stops long enough to send a glare towards a certain hound. ]

I'd rather not have to be distracted by your annoying howling, mutt.

...I don't even really like wine that much. I think I'll let someone else win.

[Alice continues her attacks at a decidedly average rate.]

What kind of king is so easily distracted? Good grief, I can only imagine what would've happened to Ulster if my own lord was confused by such a simple thing. You'd better make sure that guy keeps his eyes on the goal, little lady.

[So maybe he still gets kinda pissed at "mutt" et cetera...]

[He also keeps moving forwards like a proverbial blender, Persona covering his back and sending bursts of frigid ice at whatever cannot be harmed physically. Odds are good he'll go too far behind enemy lines if left to his own devices, but...

Well, even if he dislikes Gil, he assumes that they are -- at least for now -- on the same side, and that the golden king, the angel, and ~~zelda~~ the woman of the Fianna have his back.]
