Lovers Full Moon Log

[ ♪♪♪♪♪ ]

[ As expected, when midnight of the full moon hits, a specific Arcana will make it's presence known. The Lovers Arcana will be resting up too high to actually reach though. Instead, there appears to be two significantly large groups each of various level shadows and do they appear to be protecting something? Further inspection will show that in one group, there's a dark shade that appears to be man-like in appearance and in the opposite group? A shade that appears to be woman-like in appearance. Sound a bit familiar?

It might not take Persona owners long to figure out the goal: defeat both of these shades at the same time. Doing so will force the Lovers to retreat and victory will be achieved. Each shade is protected by a variety of shadows in the second block. ]

NOTES;
♥ Killing one shade (man or woman) without killing the other will result in the other one resurrecting it.
♥ Groups can consist of 3~6 characters.
♥ Characters are still under the effects of the event until the the Dark Hour is over with.
♥ Please tag this entry with your character when you have tagged in please.

[ It's okay. Gilgamesh would be laughing too. He's just trying to... suppress any urges to kill the bastard. SOMEDAY. ]

Right, right. He threw you aside because you could never be as good as your brother. And so you murdered him out of jealousy. You do realize how very pathetic that makes you, right?

You don't even know the most important part of the story. None of the interpretations ever tell it correctly. What God wanted was blood, so I gave Him the most precious blood I could offer Him. And he cursed me for it! As if at that time I had known that humans could die the same way sheep could!

[It wasn't fair. It would never be fair. He had been like a child - they all were.]

That is exactly the fault with my own legend. But you never can expect mongrels to do a very good job at anything, can you?

But that still makes you a fool. You never kill unless it's for the benefit of humanity. Unless your brother was secretly plotting to overthrow your God, and establish himself as some sort of new God, I think you deserve your punishment. I can think of no greater sin than killing one's own kin.

[ And now he's just trolling. Maybe a little too hard. ]

[He narrows his eyes, resisting the urge to attack. He knows he's outmatched here, and on top of it he's still yet to acquire an actual weapon.]

The overthrow of God is what we are going to achieve soon. As for being responsible for the death of a brother, I'm not the only one here who bears that responsibility. You should have known there would be repercussions.

[Oh yeah. He went there.]

[ Well, he was trying to restrain himself. But after that little quid, he chooses to throw all that restraint to the wind. Whichever sword happens to be occupying his right hand will soon find it's tip mere inches away from the boy's throat. His usually dark red eyes seem to be burning embers as they stare Naoya down. ]

Don't you dare disrespect the dead like that, you miserable excuse for a human. I loved my brother, and would have gladly traded my own life in exchange for his. You...

[ After a brief moment, he pulls the blade back, but his eyes never stray from target. ]

No, that's exactly your problem, isn't it? You're a miserable outcast who has never known love. Not even that of your own family. How very sad. It would almost be a favor to put you out of your misery, wouldn't it? All the more reason to allow you to continue to suffer. Live on, and endure the pain you were born to live with. Perhaps one day your archaic God will forgive you.

[He just smirks at the blade at his throat. It's not something he hasn't had happen before, but he doesn't speak until Gilgamesh is done talking, at which point his smirk falters significantly and twists into anger.]

I need no one's forgiveness. I need no one's pity or love or any of these things. And put me out of my misery? I would welcome it. Though before I leave all of these memories behind, I would like to rid the world of Him. At least I can assist my brother with this one last thing to leave him with a better world than the one that I took from him too soon.

[He doesn't need or expect Abel's love. And yet he seems to have it. And if there is one being in the world that he still cares something for, it's him. Yes, this was mostly about him. But it was also about leaving Abel in a position to change the world, because he trusted him, at least, to not abuse that power.]

And just how do you plan on accomplishing such a feat? A God is no easy thing to kill. Not for someone as weak as you. Lowering yourself to prey on the defenseless. You're nothing more than a untamed mutt. But perhaps if you actually focused all that anger into something productive...

I have my ways. My brother now has the power to oppose Him, and he agrees with me that God must be destroyed. Between his leadership of the demons, the knowledge of magic I can provide him with, and the force of a few allies, God will fall.
