[Issei wasn't one for parties, normally, but he knew that he and everyone else needed a pick-me-up. Therefore, he'd picked up some food, thrown together a bit of decorations, turned on some light music, and declared it a party.

[She pauses in mid-chew, before swallowing and nodding.] Yep, it's pretty good. You gonna have any?

[He puts a very small amount on his plate. It doesn't look like he's eating much tonight.]

... You're not eating much. [Ledah you're already skinny, April is gonna worry if you get skinnier.]

I'm not very hungry.

[Cue a concerned look, but she nods.] Hmm... Okay. If you're not hungry I can't really nag at you to eat more.

I doubt much of this food will go uneaten in the end. Not to worry.

Yeah, but I don't want you to get sick or anything cause you're not eating much.

... But I can always nag later if you aren't eating much by then.

Glad to hear it. [She gives him a quick kiss on the cheek.] Though lemme know if I nag too much.

I will, though I doubt I'll need to.

You never know, I might play out the role of 'nagging fiancee' well. [She gives a small laugh.] But seriously though, I'll try not to nag too much.

Hmm? Yeah, I am... It's nice to have something like this after we have nasty events. What about you?

I'm all right. I didn't suffer too badly, but that was because few people that are important to me aren't already here.

That's good... [April frowns faintly as she remembers her Shadow friends. Even though it had been dealt with in private, fighting what looked like her two best friends from home wasn't fun.] ... And luckily it didn't last for too long.

... Well, so long as it isn't another case of zombies or Shadow selves, I'm sure we can handle it. [The zombies and Shadow selves will forever be her least fav events.]

I'm sure. We've grown quite capable at this point.

Yeah, we have. And we have each other too, so we don't have to deal with things on our own.
