Full Moon Log : Hermit

When midnight strikes and the dark hour falls, characters will notice things are not going as they have in the past few weeks. The streets, normally crawling with shadows, are empty. There’s a thick tension in the air and characters may feel a strange power pulling them towards the dungeon in the business ward.

Once there characters will find a large creature (the Hermit) in the entrance way. It is crawling on several legs, has a mask like face and gravity defying blue fur around the head. Several feet away from it, spaced out in a semi circle around it are smaller creatures (Noble Seekers). These creatures look like floating clay masks with eyes encircling them. Once the larger shadow sees the intruders, it will emit a loud cry and run outside.

Once there it will get atop a building and the smaller shadows will start to attack. These foes are attempting to force the characters in small groups and are attacking one at a time.

The small groups shouldn’t be of more than three characters. The objective is the defeat the smaller shadows, doing so will defeat the Hermit.

The battle had been won. Tend to the injured and discuss what happened.

Kaito did investigate the surroundings before this. The numbers of the Shadows were decressing, which made him quite relieved. But it didn't take him too long when he sensed a strong force of power that midnight, and he's going to check it out again. Noticing the empty streets without a single Shadow, something will happening.

He loaded with full equips, and waiting for the others. He certainy sure that he's not the only one who sense this. Going alone would risk himself.

[Allen is being pulled along as well. His claws are already held in his hands.]

"Kaito!"

Already equipped for the night, Atsuro's running over to him. The lack of Shadows around was both a relief and somewhat worrying. A part of him wondered if it meant something, leading to Atsuro checking the area earlier.

Kaito waved at him and glanced at the building where they fought before. "Atsuro-san, can you feel it? It's much stronger than before." He clutched tight on his dagger. The pressure was too strong, which he almost sucked into the building.

He nodded, looking at the building where that strange dungeon was. "Yeah, I can feel like. Whatever it's from, it's clearly strong."

Atsuro paused for brief moment, holding his metal pipe tightly. "And wants us inside, I'm guessing."

Kaito turned to Atsuro then back to the building. "If they want us in, then we'll take it." Thankfully, he did learn something from his boss, and that is self confidence.

Slowly, he walked nearby the entrance, hopefully those Shadows aren't strong as he thought.

[Tatsuma is similarly drawn to the dungeon, looking... more or less blank. He knows something is off, but he's not entirely sure what, so he's letting his feet take him where they will for now. When he spots the others, he gives a nod of acknowledgment.]

Seeing self-confidence from Kaito made it easier for Atsuro to look braver. He don't want to look weak in front of others, and cause trouble.

He followed after Kaito, glancing around for other people or hidden Shadows.

Should we wait or go on with these two?

Kaito's footsteps halted as he saw something at the entrance way, and it's definitely not good. He could sense this was the source of the energy force, and it's strong one.

"Atsuro-san, look! Over there!" Kaito pointed at the entrance way. A Shadow they never seen before, visibly flew into the entrance, and it's been waiting for them to come.

I heard this was a place.

Ryuunosuke was unusually quiet, following the other two around. Kaito'd invited him, so it wasn't completely creepy that he was just paying attention to the force drawing him forward and had been silent until they saw the Shadow at the entrance.

"So, I guess this is the place if we want to find out what's going on." He wasn't the type to just accept things as 'too dangerous'.

Kaito blinked at the voice as he turned to his back. He wasn't sure when Ryuunosuke got here, but he's the one who invited him to investigate. How could he forget? "Ryuunosuke-san. Yes, this is their hideout, and we've been recommended to stick in groups, unless you're strong enough to face them." Turning back to the enter, and wondered how they're ended up appearing at the entrance.

[Madoka is in the middle of following the sensation that was pulling her towards the dungeon. However... Something was bothering her. She looks around cautiously, musing her worries out loud.]

... Strange. I'm not sensing anything at all... I'm getting nervous...

[Ingrid's walking around nearby, fiddling with a small handgun. She overhears Haruhi and sighs.]

Hey! The SOS Brigade has been investigating this monster stuff around town for a few weeks now! We have a great track record with weird events like this [or so she'd like to think they did] and we can take care of it!

Ah, gentlemen. It would appear there's something amiss in the business ward. I suggest we investigate, and network our vox-casters as we did last time. [ His heavy tread is determined, as he rolls up on the dungeon proper. ]

[Syd... Syd has no clue what's going on, and she doesn't like this situation at all, but she doesn't like that Madoka's by herself. There's safety in numbers.]

[ Drawn to this place while she was hidden away in her hotel room left her with little chance to change, the dread far too overwhelming to ignore. She's walking up towards the building in question while adjusting a gauntlet in her true armor. The breastplate may no longer be enchanted, but it will serve as suitable protection - thus the purpose behind her bringing it.

The sword she carries is a stark contrast to the regale of her armor, the same basic katana she has had from the beginning. Unimpressive in comparison to the rest of the way she carries herself.

The other notable feature? Her hair is braided and finished off with a ribbon, instead of the usual ponytail she wore. Pausing, she looks around for the usual others she associates with. ]
