Magician Full Moon Log

[Tonight, when midnight of the full moon hits, a certain large Arcana will make it's presence known; the Magician Arcana will be appearing outside the police station, a small group of Shadows appearing around it. The small number of helper Shadows might seem to be a relief, except this is a new Shadow that nobody has ever seen before. Characters with Analysis will be able to discover that the Shadows in this group are a lot stronger than they appear:

Sleeping Table (Magician): It has no weaknesses, blocks light/darkness spells and strike, and resists slash, pierce and fire. It attacks by using fire and almighty spells, and inflicts fear.

Persona users will have to fight in groups and work together in order to take down these new Shadows and the Magician Arcana, as this fight can only be won once all the Shadows plus the Magician Arcana have been defeated. Luckily, Persona users will find they are no longer suffering from haywire powers but they have also lost the abilities.]

NOTES
» Groups can consist of three to six people.
» The group of Shadows consists of five Sleeping Tables. These must all be defeated along with the Magician Arcana, as defeating the Magician Arcana first will not cause them to vanish or retreat. Though with the Magician Arcana also attacking Persona users, this will be a challenging fight. Luckily, it doesn't have the same resists and blocks as the Sleeping Tables, but it also has no weaknesses.

*Mila is in her wheelchair with plans on graph paper laid out on the lap desk and Virtue standing behind her scanning. Mila makes a face and looks around at the group.*

You have lightning and wind spells, right, Red? At least it doesn't resist or block those. It's got a slew of things it does tank, though... like your fire stuff, Angel, don't even try. Overall, we're screwed with a rusty cheese grater.

Well, we just have to try. I've got a few spells, and I'm pretty sure if I keep on at them, I can at least take some of those table things down.

I see. I'll take care of healing duties for this fight, then, if that's what would be best.

[April will just be to the side and stocking up on health items she's found when exploring in the tower. Of course she has her rifle slung over her shoulder, and she regularly checks that to make sure that yep, there is ammo in it.

She seems pretty jittery, though it's been a while since they fought a Shadow like this.]

What're you so nervous for?

[Ryuunosuke has decided to show his face. He seems pretty casual about the whole thing.]

You've got your friends to help you, it's not like you're going in alone.

[She just gives him a look. One that says 'Yep I am', before going back to checking over supplies.]

You know that's really, really dumb, right?

I'm gonna be careful. It'll be better if I go into the thick of it and try to take down as many of those stupid table things as I can.

[kindofademon]

Not really. It'll be better if you work with everybody else and not get killed, 'cause the only person who likes getting killed here is me. Do you want to be like me?

[needsteaplz]

[Saori's wrapping her hands with her usual handwraps. She stands on a building rooftop, watching the shadows intently.]

Well we might not have our powers anymore, we still have our Personae. Remember, soloing during a full moon is dangerous. While death isn't permanent here, I'd rather not lose anyone here.

[harpbeat]

This is really gonna suck.

[Guess who can't attack the tables at all?]

What sort of skills does your persona have?

[harpbeat]

Hitting things. A little bit of healing and a boost to defense. But mostly hitting things.

[needsteaplz]

Hmm almost like mine but instead of hitting things, I have fire spells. I don't anyone's going to have it easy this time.

[harpbeat]

We shouldn't double up, it's bad tactics. Is there some group I should be in besides yours?

[misplacedxsheath]

*Margulis is in the hotel lobby, with one of his swords at his side and the other held in one hand, sheath and all. He's constantly shifting his attention from one point to another, as if looking for something.*

I know you're going to be here...

[She's standing near the corner, staring out the window. Before she turns to him, she smirks just a bit.]

I'm not surprised.

[misplacedxsheath]

That's because neither of us is a complete moron. Now here.

*He tosses her one of his swords with a faint smirk of his own.*

It's not your preferred weapon, but I thought you might be a little disappointed if you weren't able to participate tonight.

[pellegri]

[She catches it easily, and turns it over in her hands, frowning a little.]

Yes, it's not an elegant weapon suited for a woman, but it will do. Thank you.

*It's well made, at least, and if she draws it she'll find some nicks in the blade that prove he's used it against a powerful opponent.*

Now, there's one more matter to consider. While I'd prefer it not become necessary, these enemies are likely to be more formidable than ordinary Shadows and my own healing capabilities are severely limited. Before we leave, we should at the very least contact someone with more powerful abilities in that area.

[needsteaplz]

Somebody call for a healer?

[If the two looked at the hotel's main entrance, they could see Saori's head poking from the top of the doorway, smiling. She does come down from her spot, landing on her feet, and claps the dust from her hands.]

Really, Margulis? I'm a little hurt you didn't call me already.
