When midnight strikes and the dark hour falls, and things are beginning to look as they did on that fateful night a month ago. The streets are empty of shadows. The characters feel a strange power pulling them, not towards the dungeon, but to the Golden Palace Casino.  

Once there characters will find a large creature (the Fortune) in on top of the roof. It resembles a giant pair of dice with a mask on the taller stack. On the ground below are smaller shadows (Merciless Mayas), standing in two groups either side of an extremely large spinning wheel that once stood in the entry way of the building.  In front of the wheel are Kanda and Syd, both tied up and caged bent and broken prop items from inside the casino.

When characters try to get closer, the wheel will be spun and after a few moments. Kanda is released.  Syd will be suddenly carted off to the roof to stay trapped beside the Arcana shadow and suddenly the smaller shadows will start to attack.

The groups can consist of three to six people. The objective is the defeat the smaller shadows, doing so will defeat the Fortune and save Syd.

[ Without hesitation, she strolls right up to the man. Without her armor and with the simple Eastern-style blade she's purchased here, Saber doesn't look fit for combat. In fact, the slight bulge on the side of her hip to indicate bandages seems to be thicker than usual, as if she had padded it just in case of additional blood flow. ]

[Gawain now had some basic equipment thanks to Saber lending him some money before hand, and was now ready to join the fight. He couldn't just sit back and watch seeing as two people had been kidnapped. Even with just a basic sword he would still be a fairly good match against these things.]

[Saori gulps. She doesn't have a permanent weapon yet but she decided to borrow a metal baseball bat for protection. But at least she's got her Persona to back her up.]

[Gawain had paced him self, and not rushed in slashing everything in sight. Any decent knight knew what to do in order to save time and energy on the battle field and this was no exception. Though he felt a sudden burst in power, and suddenly the persona Clotho was by his side.]

“I am thou and thou art I, I shall serve you and back you up in battle as I spin the thread of life for I am Clotho”

As much as I rather not have a women get involved in battle, if you wish you help who am I to stop you, even if this does seem more like witchcraft to me. [He smiles and brings down his sword on a near by Mayas.] Let's see if you can follow commands, how about hitting the one over there with an attack? [and with that Clotho had sent an Agi at the Mayas Gawain had pointed at.]

[Despite how reckless and gung-ho April can be, she wasn't stupid enough to just charge in there. April is no physical fighter, so she focuses on attacking the Shadows from a distance and summoning Iris to Zio any Shadows that get too close or when she needs to reload her gun. But for every Shadow she takes down, it seems another one appears in it's place.]

[Asuka charges in with Ishtar and whoever else she managed to grab in the recruiting thread, axe waving ahead of her.]

Cover my back, ladies! Let's go! CHAAAAARGE!

[Asuka charges at the nearest Maya, trying to overwhelm it with an overhead axe strike and a kick before it can respond. Realizing this is going to be a long battle, she holds back her Holy Arrows for now...at least until she can be sure these aren't physical-immune like the last enemies in this shape.]

[Those Mayas aren't immune to physicals, right? Allen will be attacking them to find out for himself.

If they are, he'll stay on the defensive and cover for the others. He would use a Dia spell for anyone that needs one.

[The idea of casinos, like any of the hives that the masses of humanity would flock to, had little appeal to Johnny. Even less appeal, considering how filthy the reality inside of the place was. It was a place where people indulged in every cheap, idiotic vice they could, without concern for the consequences of their actions. And a lot of people had been flocking to it recently, which just emphasized to Nny how pathetic the town was. Even more pathetic, the other people who had been brought here. He'd take his chances with the Shadows outside, thank you.

He'd come to find that fighting with the Shadows actually kept his bloodlust in check. At least for now. Johnny had yet to meet anyone here who absolutely disgusted or insulted him, which was a surprise, and thus hadn't had cause to kill yet. As long as the thing behind the wall really hadn't followed him, he may not ever. Though Nny highly doubted that. Any place where people gathered was sure to have SOME utter roaches, some pathetic, squirming creatures that dared to call themselves human. And as fun as the Shadows were, it bothered him. Killing them was almost like a game which, while amusing? Wouldn't last forever.

He didn't know why he headed over to the Casino. Maybe he wanted an excuse to finally kill someone, and that seemed like as good a place as any. If he would meet any utter refuse of mankind, it'd be there. So, slinking, he decided to head there.

And was taken by surprise when he saw how in shambles the place was. He just stands there for a moment before slowly moving around, looking at all the damage caused during the fight.]
