Would you take a walk with me? [Closed]
Who: April Sinclair and Ledah Rozwelli
What: A date, despite April saying that it isn't.
When: Friday 20th, 6pm
Where: Starting at their room, and then moving to a restaurant.
Rating: PG
April sighed as she smoothed out the dress she's wearing; she had been nervous for most of the day and it didn't seem like it was going away any time soon, despite her attempts to convince herself that no, she will not mess this up somehow.
But, she forces herself to calm down and hesitantly walks out of the rooms bathroom (she had went in there to change, since she didn't think wearing her usual shorts+shirt would be the best thing to wear), glancing over to her roommate.
"Um, you ready to go, Ledah?"

"Um, you ready to go, Ledah?"

"Here we are!"
Said restaurant, while looking a bit small, does look nice and April will continue to lead the way into it. And it does at least smell good in there.

Cue April squinting at her menu since she's never heard of most of this food before.
no subject
Ledah's eaten out more often, apparently.

The last part comes out as an embarrassed mumble. She tended to cook a lot, but she didn't know as many foods as she had thought she did.

"... Do you know what you're gonna order?"

Good thing April has made her decision, since here's the waiter, who April quickly gives her order to with only minor stuttering.

"Oh, y-you're welcome. I just t-thought it would be nice if we did something like this."

"I-I agree... Is there anything you would want to do if we got out again?"

"Yeah, I would love that! We can go do that whenever you want, since I'm not busy anytime soon.
... Oh, that's what I can do for thanking you for helping me with my nightmares; I buy a kite for you."
She nods to herself, thinking it's a good idea.

"I-I'm looking forward to spending the time with you, too."
And since the restaurant is pretty small, it doesn't take long for the waiter to serve their food, and it does look good. Now April just needs to figure how to eat spaghetti.

Oh dear, April.
no subject
"Ah, r-right."
She does what he says without too much of a problem, and once she's taken a bite of her food, she nods a few times.
"Ah, this tastes pretty good! Is your food all right?"
no subject
Probably better than that other restaurant log recently. Cough, cough.
no subject
"That's good. Looks like I made the right decision in choosing this place."
She munches on her food some more, before a thought comes to mind. "... Hey, um, say if I made food like this one day, w-would it be all right if I asked you to, u, taste-test some of them? Since it's good to have a second opinion..."

She's pretty much radiating happiness at this point.

Ledah too seems pleased, if in a more subdued fashion.

"True... Um, I'll admit that I've been nervous about asking you somethings before, since I thought they were silly things to ask."
She twirls some spaghetti around her fork in thought for a moment.
"But still, it makes me happy to know you're okay with helping me out."
