I shall show you what sort of man I am.
[ He reaches out, taking her by the waist and shoulder, and pulls her almost-roughly to his chest, leaning down to kiss her almost ferociously, and a little awkwardly on the lips, his nose bumping into hers with a surprised grunt. He holds her for a long moment, obviously awkward with a woman in his hands, and even more obviously clumsy with his first kiss. ]

A..Ah~ My apologies for doubting you earlier.
However, this is exactly what I mean by taking pleasure for yourself.~

It was improper of me, and for that I apologize, I am sworn only to the bonds of brotherhood, and you...
....
You make me impulsive, where I am reserved. That is infuriating. I am to be steadfast, not confused.

There's really no need to apologize. You were rough with me but it isn't like I'll break so easily.
Let's be honest, here. If I'm steadily leading you down a path of ruin and my presence makes you a monster, all you need do is tell me so. I won't haunt you.
But if you can admit to yourself and me that the kiss you just stole made you feel alive; that that race of impulsiveness momentarily killed your confusion, then I'll forgive you wholeheartedly and absolve your conscience.
So, which will it be~?

It made me feel alive, yes. It was beyond duty or hope. .... And it was the strangest thing. I felt fear. It wasn't like a foe or a battle, I feel nothing but a desire for victory in such circumstances. I just do not want to be disloyal to my duty, and I wonder if by reaching out to you....
But it did make me feel alive. It was a pleasant experience.

Then all is forgiven.
There is a part of me which relishes in your emotional freedom. I want you to feel what you've missed and to realize that you've missed it.
I've shown you what it means to live, to fear, to seek pleasure. All things you stated you discarded.
I feel quite accomplished to be perfectly honest.~

I would advise you not to try to tempt me from my duty, though. These games may serve you now but I would not react well to such things.
no subject
Have I not already done so~? I personally believe you've reacted splendidly.~

If that is the case, then I suggest you find some. I grow weary of coming second to your sense of honor.
no subject
What would I be without honor and duty? They are my life.
no subject
When you learn that, come and find me.

[ He doesn't know what to say. He just looks at Beatrice, somewhere between frustrated and confused, with maybe a bit of hurt in there. ]
