[ Shakespeare work hard and organized the best thing ever. Or at least he spent tons of money in this party. Soon the day arrived and everything was ready for this to be a night people would never be able to forget. ~~HAHAHAHA THIS IS FUNNY CONSIDERING WHAT IT'S AWAITING FOR HIM~~

[ Exactly what he was aiming for. But now that it was nearly empty, he would set it on the edge of the balcony, not really caring if he or anyone else happened to bump it off. It wasn't really his problem, was it? Besides, she had his full attention again. He had to wonder what she would do with it. ]

Well, how else would you plan to get home? It is rather late. And since you still lack the protection a Persona has to offer, it would only be right of me to offer you ride back home, wouldn't it?

[She watched as the cup teetered in the wind and suddenly noticed the slight chill in the night air. She had quite a bit of herself exposed and it truly made the difference. If she had his attention again, she was going to use it to her advantage. She would press her back to his chest and wrap his arms around her gently as if to shield her from the elements.]

The ride would be well appreciated. Ah, I don't want to leave yet. This night has really been so nice.~

[ He would be lying had he said he expected something like this happening tonight. Then again, it wasn't entirely impossible. Strange things are known to happen when in the company of others, and while a part of him wanted to question it... The warmth being exchanged between their bodies did hold a certain familiarity to it. With a sigh, he'll allow his arms to wrap a little more tightly around her form, perhaps resting his chin on top of her head. ]

Well, it's not as if I'm any rush to get home, either. I suppose you have a point about it being rather nice. We can just enjoy the night air and music for a bit, right~?

[That he accepted such an embrace was a surprise in and of itself. The whole night had been a bit of a beautiful dream and asking to prolong it may have been selfish, but she couldn't help herself. It was becoming clear to her that she wanted more than his attention, but for now the warmth of his arms would be enough.]

Mhm, the music and the pleasure of your company. If this keeps up I may never want to go home.~

[ It was as strange a feeling as any, but perhaps he accepted it so easily because it was something he had desired for so long. Yes, he was a king. He was independent. He could have had any woman he wanted back then. And yet the one woman in this era was caught up in some love triangle and simply saw him as a fellow king, despite how often he went out of his way to prove he was more than that to her. Perhaps after so long, he accepted the closeness he sought in someone else. Someone that reminded him of his past. The beauty and grace of his mother, the rivalry that Enkidu had brought him, and... some funny little feeling of warmth that he had once shared with the woman he had called his queen. He was just going to enjoy this moment, for he knew it would only end too soon. ]

To think we would even be saying such things to one another. Although I have no doubt we'll be back to our bickering shortly after, no? That is why we should make the most of tonight. Or perhaps you could even come back to my place?

[Had she ever been asked a more leading question? Or perhaps she read too much into it, herself. The way she felt after tonight, with his warm arms tucked so tightly around her, she was sure he could talk her into anything his heart desired. It was a daunting thought. She didn't want to be parted with him, but if he was implying what she thought he was implying, she might not be able to control herself.]

B...Believe me, I'm just as surprised as you are. I'm sure we'll bicker, but I don't think it'll be the same after tonight to be honest.

[ He could be angry. He was a king, THE King of Heroes. Anyone would be a fool to not accept one of his offers, even if they seemed rather vague and made one's mind wander. And yet, he wasn't the slightest bit upset. Not outwardly, at least. Internally, he may have let a curse in an ancient tongue slip, but these things happen. Besides, that would have been too easy, wouldn't it? Didn't he enjoy the challenges she gave him? This was just another to overcome. And while she had already denied him, that didn't stop him from trying. He would eventually lean in a bit closer to her, and moments later she might feel the sensation of warm lips being pressed against her neck. ]

A shame, but I suppose I can't change your mind, can I? Oh well. A little extra time spent with you doesn't sound like such a bad idea, either. We might not have another chance like this again for a long while.

[His lips may have been warm, but there was a definitive chill running up her spine. She closed her eyes and bit down on her bottom lip. Perhaps that would remind her that she wasn't dreaming and bring back some sense. Ah, but his lingering kisses clouded any judgement she had left. She found herself lulling her head to the side just to allow him further access to her skin. She was strong enough to decline his offer, why deprive herself of this slight bit of selfishness?]

Mm, but you must understand. I deny you only to have further chances like these. It's not as though the offer isn't...tempting.

[ This was the critical moment where one decides how the rest of the evening goes. He could continue to tease her with those delightful kisses, yes. It was obvious she was very into them. Oh, but he desired much more. More than he could ever truly obtain. Not this night, maybe not any other. But that mattered little to him at the moment. He was a man driven by desire, and he would take what he wanted. She had been tempting him all night already, hadn't she? Then surely this was to be expected. With the speed of lightning bolt, he pulled her into his arms and dipped her into a very sudden yet passionate kiss. Her lips were as sweet as honey, and he found it incredibly hard to pull himself away after a bit, even if he knew he had to. After some time, and with much reluctance, he would. Only to stare deep into her eyes with a grin. ]

And like these, yes~? But I believe I see how the witch plays her game now. And I believe that in due time, I may even beat it. But until they day, it shall be a pleasure to continue challenging you.

She recalled their time spent together on her couch. If she went back to his place, there would be no falling asleep to interrupt them. No, there was no way she was giving in this easily, no matter how enchanting the evening might have been or how much she'd like to. For the moment, she'll idly toy with the lapel of his suit and offer him a satisfied smile.]

For a witch that claims to have lived a thousand years, I find it odd that you aren't familiar with the more rare and unique flowers of the world. Aren't they especially popular amongst magic users? Ah, but I suppose it's only fair to tell.

[ With a dreamy sigh, his gaze wanders off into the stars above. His face seems even more relaxed that usual, and it seems as though he may be recalling a certain time he actually encountered the flower himself. ]

For most of the year, it's a rather ordinary looking plant. But on one night, sometime between midnight and dawn, it blooms. And if you ever have the chance to see it, it is said you will be blessed by Brahma for the rest of your days. Ah, but that's not the best part. After it blooms, it is perhaps one of the most beautiful flowers one can find on this earth. And the heavenly aroma it emits is enough to leave you rolling around in the purest form of ecstasy you might ever experience. But as you can imagine, something so rare and beautiful simply can not last forever. Especially not in this corrupted world. As suddenly as it had bloomed, it dies just before the rising sun can greet it in the morning. And you'll be lucky if you ever see another flower bloom from the same plant the following year, although it's not impossible.

[ After that bit of explanation, his eyes seem to recover from their dream like state, only to return to looking into her own. There's just something... different about him at the moment. Not even he can really pinpoint what is is, but he doesn't dislike it. ]

Perhaps it's a bit of an abstract comparison, but I suppose it works, doesn't it?

[She'll listen to his explanation intently, as though he were speaking a gospel to her. His words were...beautiful. She was completely enamored with this side of him. He was normally so haughty and crass, but in this moment he was intelligent and sincere. Wordlessly, she would slip her hands behind his neck and pull him into another deep kiss. It was rare for her to initiate such a show of affection, but she was admittedly moved.]

I..It seems you can live for a thousand years and still be surprised by new things...and new people.

[ Well, that was certainly surprising. Considering the last few times had all been him, he couldn't help but be amused by this turn of events. Maybe she really was warming up to him. He'll be more than eager to return the kiss, with a bit more passion than expected. Sadly, it wouldn't last too long as his eyes drift to a clock indicating the Dark Hour will begin shortly. Without so much as a word, he'll swoop her up bridal style and carry her away! ...Well, out to his car so he can get her the fuck home before crazy shit starts up.

Eventually they make it back to the hotel, and he'll help her out because what is being a gentleman tonight. ]

My apologies for the rushing. I'd just rather neither one of us be out during that dreadful hour. Not without being properly prepared. ...I wish it could have lasted a bit longer. But I enjoyed myself.

[Certainly she was surprised by this course of action, but she understood his reasoning. She'll go with it, tucking her arms around him comfortably and allowing him to cart her off with a giggle. The car ride home was relatively short but relaxing and she was almost disappointed when it ended. She would accept such a gentlemanly gesture, of course. Who knows when he'll take a measure like this again? Standing just outside, she would offer him a demure smile.]

It's quite alright. I'd...lost track of time, myself.

I had...a surprisingly wonderful time. Thank you.

Hey, um...Gilgamesh, did you mean what you said. You know, about that flower. Do you really think something like that...about me?

[ He could respond to her question. It was obviously something she was thinking about, and would continue pondering for a while. ...Perhaps that's why he took the action he did. Another stolen kiss, ans most likely the last for a while, so he'll make sure it counts for something. Eventually he'll pull away with a teasing smile, truly hoping the question plagues her for days on end. ]
