Dark Hour Log

[The clock has struck midnight and something in the air has changed. Time’s stopped, people have transformed into coffins, the coloring of the world seems all wrong. And worse, you might notice something moving in the corner of your eye. Something dark, shadow-like, and definitely foreboding.]

[Make your own threads, tag each other, etc.!  This is for Monday Night, and when your characters will first be here experiencing this!]

[Lancer was completely at a loss upon awakening. He was meant to be dead, not waking up in some unknown town. This wasn't right, he could feel that something had changed. His movements felt slower, his reflexes shot to hell compared to what he was capable of not ten minutes beforehand. And his Noble Phantasms were gone--he was human and completely unarmed. Impossible. What kind of magic short of the Holy Grail itself could make a Servant into a human?!]

[And the place he was in now...for lack of any better word, it looked like hell itself. The coffins, the distorted coloring...where had he been thrown to upon his death? Servants were meant to return to the Throne of Heroes, not whatever this was. But was he afraid? No. He was one of the Fianna, counted among Ireland's greatest warriors--it would take far more than a scenery change and some foreboding sensations to frighten him off.]

[For the moment, the gold-eyed Servant--no, former Servant--in dark green examined his surroundings cautiously. Even unarmed, a knight of the Fianna was no easy target, even for whatever might have been causing him to feel so apprehensive.]

From the moment Ainosuke began to regain consciousness, he knew something wasn't right. His back was supported by something that was too hard to be his bed, the temperature was cool, and his body felt... heavier. Sliding one of his hands out to his side, grasping for the side of his bed, he only found concrete to grasp at. No. No, this was definitely wrong. Ainosuke suddenly sat up, wavering a bit from the rush of blood to his head as regained his composure, fighting the urge to fall back on the ground. The more aware he became of his body, the more ill he started to feel.

Rolling over, Ainosuke put his hands on the ground and then pushed himself up, starting to look around. He was definitely outside, having been laying on the sidewalk next to a building. But... how had he gotten there? He stood still for a moment, taking in his surroundings, which had temporarily distracted him from anything else he might have been thinking about. This place didn't look right. It felt wrong. ... it scared him, as much as he didn't want to admit something like that to himself. What kind of dream was this?

He shuffled out of the small side street, pausing in his steps once he reached what looked to be a main road.

... were those...? What were those?

Ainosuke stared at a coffin a few feet away from himself. There was another, further down the sidewalk. A few more on the other side of the street, all of them... standing. Pressing his lips together, Ainosuke took a few steps back, turning and running off in the opposite direction. He didn't want to look. If this was his dream, he didn't want to know who could be inside of those coffins. Not after the last dream he'd had where his older brother had killed the people most important to him.

Once he'd started running, Ainosuke didn't stop, but the scenery didn't change. There were still coffins with the odd colored moon above them, the air heavy with a sense that something was wrong.

This can't be real. It can't be. I've got to wake up...

[When Atsuro regained his consciousness, he noticed that he's not in his room. He's not even inside a building at all, but outside out in the cold, his back against a cold, brick wall.

What happened? He was just inside his room, working on a project Naoya gave him.

Shaking his head, he stand up and look around. The coffins caught his attention, making him stare.

[Allen was confused when he found himself in an unfamiliar place. He had use the Gate to teleport him away from the Order and the Apocryphos, but where did it land him at?

While looking around, he noticed something crawling around and grew cautious. Clenching his left fist, Allen ready himself to invoke at a moment's notice.

He's unaware of the change his body went through, yet.

[As used to witch dimensions as she had become, the coffins were an entirely new sight. They were startling for another reason as well- the witch dimensions shouldn't even exist anymore.

Her jaw clenched as well as her grip on the bow. The strange shadows she could only barely glimpse were beginning to put her on edge.

Something had just happened. Homura wasn't about to take it lying down.

She exited the room she had been deposited in. Was there anyone else here?]

Momiji had never been one to scare easily. Through haunted houses, horror movies, and scary stories told on dark nights, Momiji always found a reason to laugh. Nothing supernatural could frighten him; he'd always found human nature to be the scary thing. People did terrible things to each other, not ghosts. Now he had reason to think otherwise.

Coffins lined the streets, like some sort of sick parade of death. The world was off-colored, wrong. His connection was broken. That part scared him the most.

He couldn't feel his connection the other Sohma's, to the rabbit. It was strange, almost painful and trying to deal with it while faced with this landscape made him want to scream. Instead he started walking, looking for the people he'd just been with. If the younger ones were here, they'd be terrified. Especially little Kisa. And he needed to find Haru before the boy got hopelessly lost. He needed to ask them if they felt the loss too.

"Guys? Where are you?"

[He had grown familiar with this sort of setting. Although, something was different about the atmosphere of this place. Different. Yet intriguing.

There were no signs of The Order, nor the Noah clan. Just... coffins surrounding the entire area.

He contemplated, however. Just how safe was it to explore this unknown area? He was never cautious about this sort of thing, but he had no weapon on him. Besides, he didn't want to cause any damage to this body. After all, it still wasn't entirely his.

Staying here wouldn't do him any good, none the less.

He finally stands. Surveying the streets for any sign of danger before advancing on.

Just... Where was he?]

[ she's already spent ten minutes wandering in this coffin-ridden land without seeing a single living soul, and the thought that she might be trapped here in a world she was so suddenly brought to had her so worried, she thought she could collapse right there. but she vowed to stay strong- perhaps she would find one of the companions, or even the prince. so she searched, slowly, keeping her stave close to her chest. ]

[From being on a train to waking up in a strange town like this...was defiantly something Naoto wasn't expecting. Certainly no one could have taken her off the train by accident, right? Hell she doesn't even remember the train stopping. Well in any case, it's probably better to go and find someone than just stand here.

So she starts to make her way down the eerie streets but stops when something abnormal catches her eye. A coffin-- a coffin in the middle of the street...and there are more. Every which way she turns her head, a coffin can be seen. This has to be some sort of dream. Right, that's exactly what this is]

All right, so this is what happens to the losers, huh....? Am I going to be judged?

Hope this is okay.

[No, this is definitely not where he expected to be. It didn't look like any place he'd been to before--]

[And Mugen didn't want to seem to work properly, no matter what he did. It left him completely on edge, and confused and suspicious as all hell. He couldn't even find anybody he knew!]

Dammit. Where the hell are those idiots?!

[Tatsuma's got his hood up as he walks slowly around the area, on high alert. The Power had been taken from him, which is more than just a little concerning. Still, he has his gloves and his knowledge of martial arts from his teacher, so he should be able to defend himself to some capacity at the very least.

But... with the world looking as it is, he would not be terribly surprised to see a demon about. And at his current strength, taking on such a creature... well, it wouldn't be a pretty sight, that's for sure.

For now he'll just continue to investigate in hopes of finding a clue as to his whereabouts and what exactly is going on.

[Haruhi seems to be in her element here. She's rushing down the street, going from coffin to coffin. Little squeals of joy follow her wherever she goes.]

This is so AWESOME!

[akihiko is caught off-guard when he awakens in a strange place, a place that definitely isn't iwatodai. but he's more than capable of keeping a cool-head as he investigates the strange coffins littering the vicinity.

there's an ominous feeling that something is very wrong with the atmosphere, so as he walks through the streets, he keeps his guard up. it's almost as if there's something out there, lurking in the shadows. when there's movement out of the corner of his eye, akihiko's attention snaps to it, readying his stance for any possible fight coming his way, and smirks to himself a bit; regardless of why and how he came to be here, maybe all his practice and training will come in handy for once.]

[ There was a puddle of water forming around her form as the girl slowly rose from the ground. It didn't feel like dirt. It felt more like cement or something like that. When she looked up through her messy hair she was trying to figure out where she was. The rain had stopped. There was no sign of the body she was crying next to. She could feel the dry tears as she attempts to wipe them away.

She was covered in nothing more than a simple cloak over a dress that was hardly fit for fighting. She shivered briefly noticing how ominous the area appeared to her. There were coffins laying about and the sky was a murky colour. She seriously didn't like this as she started to stand up. Sidia remained quiet next to her not reflecting its usual magical energy. It seemed that she couldn't use it to protect herself. ]

[Kaito woke up from his sleep before realizing he wasn't in his room. He glanced around him and there's nothing else except the standing coffins, which made him afraid to approach. His heart skipped fast and he's breathing fast like human... wait, human?

Kaito never be a human. He's originally a living robot without a heart. He tried to forget everything, but it seemed real. Kaito walked around the street, passed several of coffin and called out his creator.]

Master? Master, where are you?
